RedArkGuy's JournalIs the provision to keep federal judges from finding Trump et al in contempt for ignoring their rulings still in the BBB
From what I've been able to find out it appears that this provision was still in the Senate version of the bill. I'm not a lawyer so I'm not sure I understand when the summary says " Specifically, if no security was given when the injunction or order was issued, the citation of contempt may not be enforced."
What is security? How is it given? What do judges do to "give security" when they place injunctions or give an order?
My job threatened over comments on a website
The substack South Arkansas Reckoning, which did a lot of work I respected about a year ago, has been going rogue, jumping on the RFK Jr train, playing his game. The most recent evidence of this is its featuring of a 2023 article from a low impact journal (not as often cited in other journal articles as its peers) an article whose lead author is a psychiatrist, not a microbiologist, not an immunologist.

The study concluded that mRNA in the COVID vaccines is causing widespread adverse side effects to the point that it should not be administered. I responded to South Arkansas Reckoning's portrayal of this article as conclusive that the entire mainstream media lied the world into taking a vaccine that causes nothing but harm by saying yes, the vaccine can cause adverse side effects---in 3 to 5,000 people who take the vaccine out of the MILLIONS and MILLIONS who have taken it. That fact is left out of the South Arkansas Reckoning article.. We only receive description of this one study as if it were the only authority on the matter of the vaccines' efficacy and potential to do harm. The study is important. It is suggestive. It needs follow up studies.
But it is not in and of itself a reason to avoid COVID vaccines or to risk COVID. The full context in which the study (and all studies) was done and the full context of it with regard to what other studies have shown is needed. And I wrote my critique of the treatment of the study in the article by Richard Owens.
He got angry. He found out I'm a reporter for a news website. He told me to shut up. It looked like he was going to take down my comments.
I did not take that well. I said that the whole exchange could be placed in my facebook in minutes. (I have literal single digits of people who read me, love them each as I do.)
Then his friend who also runs South Arkansas Reckoning came on and asked if I was threatening them. And said she would email my boss. She mentioned one owner of the website I work for by name.
That's a South Arkansas Reckoning for you. That's who they are. Draw your own conclusions. I have. I'm ending my subscription. It's not worth $60 a year.
Anybody seeing Right-wingers in social media discussing an event to occur this January 6th?
I've been seeing this on facebook from some Right-winger acquaintances. What do they think will happen?
