multigraincracker's JournalI was happy the lady liked my humor.
The wife and I stopped at a sale and I was wearing one of my scrub shirts. I just like them because they are comfortable. She asked if I was a nurse. I said no, Im a gynecologist and I was on my way to look up an old girl friend. I was so happy she had a sense of humor.
Have a big smile on my face today.
Driving into town there is a lot of construction going on. I'm old and never in a hurry.
So, I'm going into town and hit the Slow Down Construction ahead merge left. Look in my mirror the vehicle behind me is like 100 yards back. I put on my signal and that asshat, in a big black Cadillac SUV, just like the ones in a tRump motor cade,
is flying well over the regular speed limit trying to get in front of me before the construction area. I slow down when I see this to get out of his way
Well there was a black Jeep SUV behind him. The Sheriff Dept uses them and I'm thinking wouldn't that be funny. Sure enough he got pulled over. I gave the cop a thumbs up.

Had my cup of coffee from hell this morning.
Scored a coffe cup yesterday at a yard sale that said Coffee From Hell
Michigan on it.
Took me back to the 70s. I use to spend most weekends hunting or fishing in the Pinckney Recreation Area and use to visit Hell for coffee or lunch.
Is exercise more effective than medication for depression and anxiety?
from MedicalNewsToday.com
A large new analysis of meta-studies finds that exercise is more beneficial for conditions such as anxiety and depression than standard psychotherapy or medications.
The new study found that essentially all forms of exercise produced significant mental health benefits.
Shorter, high intensity exercise programs produced the greatest effect.
Exercise provided the greatest mental health benefit to people with depression, or who had been diagnosed with HIV and kidney disease, pregnant and postpartum women, and otherwise healthy adults.
An expansive analysis of existing research concludes that physical activity should be viewed as a first-choice treatment for people living with mental health issues. The analysis distills the conclusions of nearly 100 meta-reviews of randomized controlled trials.
Physical activity is 1.5 times more effective at reducing mild-to-moderate symptoms of depression, psychological stress, and anxiety than medication or cognitive behavior therapy, according to the studys lead author, Dr. Ben Singh.
While the value of physical activity for people with depression and anxiety is widely recognized, it is not considered for managing such conditions as often as the study asserts it should be.
went for a 2 hour walk today with my earbuds on. Forgot all about the Orange Guy.
POW, I'm awake now.
Sitting on the side porch sipping my coffee and pow, a loud bang like a 30-06 going off. Spilt my coffee. Looked down for blood. Then looked for a bullet hole on the wall. Walked out and looked down to road and saw a large box truck pulling over with a flat tire.
What a way to start my morning.
What are the gun laws in Turkey and Russia?
Better check it out because that's what the Triple Chin Pot Belly AHole really wants.
Glue-----nothing like what gun nuts want.
F fast food...
Not fast, not cheap and for the same money I can eat Chinese with 4 courses, hot tea and water plus desert that comes with my fortune.
No contest.
Can I keep those packages on my porch?
Yesterday I woke up with 3 packages delivered by UPS and later another one by FEDX. I call both and asked them to please come and deliver them to the correct address.
It seems like I can legally open and keep them, or so I've been told and if I can use or want the items I can keep them. Is that true? Not really what I would do, but if they were something I could use, I'd be tempted to.
