I conceived of the story in 2OO4 when Bush was reelected. Back then, it was easy enough to fantasize dystopia, but 19 years and one selfish dimwitted despot later (and another in the wings), we're at next level, 3rd-Decade,-of-the-21st-Century Dystopia, so now it seems prescient.
The basic premise is that a right wing concern executes a successful coup de tat and takes control of the US government. The "twist", if you will, is that "God" actually returns while they're well into they're stint. I divided the piece into 2 "sides" , "The Before time" and "Years Later"
Obviously my biggest inspiration was "The Handmaid's Tale." The TV show has me riveted, and as the book compelled me to make the record originally, I thought it'd be cool to make this TV trailer with my own original soundtrack. I think it works well.

4. WHY DID THE BUSES HAVE TO RETURN TO GET THEM? COULDN'T THE BUSES HAVE STAYED ON THE AIRFIELD AND WAITED FOR THE CROWD? THERE WAS PROBABLY ENOUGH ROOM ON THE TARMAC FOR 100 BUSES. THEY MIGHT THEN HAVE HAD TO WAIT IN THE TRAFFIC JAM, BUT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN WAITING ON WARM AND DRY BUSES.
