About Me

old. Boring. Too complacent to realize my full potential.

If you missed it...

watch the final West Ham goal against Tottenham! West Ham was down 3-0 early, but came back and tied the match on a ridiculously amazing goal in the 95th minute!

Go Hammers!!!

Just early voted in Harris County, Texas.

I'll just give the facts of what I experienced in the polling location I went to.

I arrived about 7:55 am. I was one of about 120 people lined up outside the building. I was one of the younger voters. I'm 44. I did see about 7 people who seemed younger. Four definitely were younger with 2 of them being first time voters. They announce to everyone when a 1st timer is voting and everyone claps and cheers! I thought that was great.

My district is red, but our county is solidly blue. The people in line were pretty representative of my area in my district. Our district is stupidly gerrymandered. It stretches from the northeast Houston area suburbs all the way into the Montrose area of Houston proper. It's totally designed to negate the votes of Montrose. At least that's my opinion.

All in all, it took about 35 minutes to get in and out. Now I'm just looking forward to November 3rd. VOTE!

I've got a dilemma.

I live in Harris county. My drivers license expired in April. I have to go in person to renew. No appointments are available anywhere near me until after election day. What do I do in this situation? Will I be allowed to vote since they require a valid ID? Any help or answers on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

But what the hell

is causing Biden's negativity to go up?!

Red hat.

Hat red.

Maga hats are red.

Happy Easter everyone!

Here's hoping goldfish left Lincoln Logs in your sock drawer!

I had one of those feel good dreams

last night.

trump had done something to my daughter (not sure what), and I just went medieval on his hamberder ass. I pummeled his face relentlessly. Once he collapsed to the ground, I grabbed a brick and just kept pounding his tangerine head with it until it basically disintegrated.

My interpretation: I hate that bastard and what he's doing to the world.

I think once the stress, anger and frustration of our current situation builds to a point, my brain allows me to live a fantasy to get some relief.

Man, it felt so good.

I'm sure it's been said a million times, but

it's so weird how trump doesn't know anyone. He doesn't know the person, doesn't know anything about the person, etc. So weird.

A moral quandary:

Would you accept 1 million dollars from trump if it meant he would be president for at least another 4 years?

I might would accept it, quit my job, live off the interest, but use all my time and money working my arse off to try and boot him out of office.

But, I take the chance of him plummeting us even further into fascist authoritarianism. Ugh! What to do?!

Maybe I'd just kill myself so I wouldn't have to try and make such a tough decision. Plus, on the bright side, suicide means I don't have to deal with the stress of living under this horrible regime any longer! That's gotta amount to something, right?

Which character in a movie do you identify

most with? The character I most identify with is Peter Gibbons from the movie Office Space. When he says that every day is worse than the day before and that each day you see him is on the worst day of his life, that is totally familiar! Not only that, but he says that if he had a million dollars, he would do nothing. He would sit on his ass and do nothing all day. That totally sounds like me!
There seriously is no other character from a movie that more closely resembles myself than that one. Plus, I forgot to put the new cover sheet on my TPS report that one time...
