He is the lowest of the low-lifes. He betrayed this country.
He is not running for president because he thinks the last election was rigged. He is running because he thinks it will protect him from criminal charges after his attempted coup attempt failed.
He wants his supporters to believe that we are no longer a nation of laws - we are a nation of men. More specifically, we are a nation of one man.
He is spreading more bullshit than a farmer with a 40-acre field. He knows it. His supporters know it. Bob Dole knows it. Lastly, the national media know it.
He is obstructing the justice system of this country with his delaying tactics. He hopes and expects to escape accountability for his crimes against our nation and our Constitution.
He is using confusion and chaos to distract the American people. FOX News is assisting him with his crimes.
His lawyers are attempting to write his defense for the Supreme Court. They are hoping to come up with something so he can squirm out of jail. Whether or not it will work remains to be seen.
He is a very desperate man. He is fighting for his life. He will use whatever weapons are at his disposal, including lies, distortions, threats of violence, personal attacks, and blaming everyone else for his extreme shortcomings as a human being.

But originalists might take note of what Sen. Peter Van Winkle of West Virginia said as he sought to have the threshold for congressional amnesty in Howard's version lowered to a simple majority, rather than two-thirds.
"This is to go into our Constitution and to stand to govern future insurrection as well as the present; and I should like to have that point definitely understood," Van Winkle said at the time.
It's also worth noting that there was just a single reference in the Senate debate to the fact that the president and vice president were not explicitly mentioned in Howard's draft as "officer(s) of the United States," the way members of Congress and state officials had been itemized in the text. Would the disqualification clause of the amendment not cover the top posts in the executive branch?
"Why did you omit to exclude them?" asked Maryland Democratic Sen. Reverdy Johnson.
Maine's Lot Morrill jumped in to clarify.
"Let me call the Senator's attention to the words 'or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States,'" Morrill said, ending the discussion on that point.

Haley and DeSantis offer Trump blanket pardon for nothing in return.
He doesn't have to say, "I'm sorry". He doesn't have to say, "I was wrong". He doesn't have to say, "I will never do it again".
He doesn't have to agree to pull out of the race and to never run for office again.
He doesn't have to agree to stop tearing down our government and our institutions and fomenting violence amongst his followers.
He doesn't have to give an inch.
And they will give him a blanket pardon.

I saw a video this morning from MeidasTouch that showed a post by the Great Stinky and he was suggesting that the Court would rule against him, both on the immunity charge and the ballot issues, because they were influenced by "politics".
In effect, his comments were attempting to do just that.
He is becoming more desperate by the minute.
The New Year starts off with a 7.5 earthquake off coast of western Japan.
Perhaps it is just an indicator of the turbulent year ahead of us?
This first week in January might tell us what direction our politics and our Supreme Court are headed. It appears that Trump will now be on the ballot in Colorado, with the recent appeal by the Colorado GOP? He was originally scheduled to be removed on January 5th.
Just about two weeks until the Iowa caucuses and we will see if the 'stinky" label has stuck to the Teflon Don. Nothing else has stuck up to this point. But, it might be the most trivial matter that makes the geniuses in the MAGA movement take notice?
We should expect turmoil in the weeks and months ahead. The hit dogs are barking and the guilty parties are screaming their innocence. They threaten violence if anyone attempts to hold them to account.
The GOP Convention is scheduled to be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the middle of July. They will have to decide if they want the criminal Trump as their candidate or someone else. No doubt, it will be an historic time.
