Kayleigh McEnany Claims 'I Never Lied' as Trump's White House Press Secretary, Cites Belief in God

https://www.newsweek.com/kayleigh-mcenany-claims-i-never-lied-trumps-white-house-press-secretary-cites-belief-god-1600186

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany proclaimed Sunday that her faith in God prevented her from ever telling a single lie during her tenure as former President Donald Trump's chief spokesperson.

McEnany spoke to attendees of the conservative group Turning Point USA's Young Women's Leadership Summit on Sunday, reiterating her past claims that she "never lied" one time as Trump's press secretary. McEnany, who was the Trump administration spokesperson from April 2020 to January 2021, recalled a May 2020 press conference question in which a journalist asked her bluntly, "Will you pledge to never lie to us from the podium?"

McEnany replied succinctly to the reporter, "I will never lie to you," prompting critics and political pundits to scoff at the remark.

On Sunday, McEnany repeated the claim and said her Christian faith and belief in God prevented her from telling lies to the American people. She went onto highlight her Harvard Law School background and "meticulous" preparation for the role of White House press secretary.

⚽️ Denmark's Christian Eriksen (29) suffered cardiac arrest, was 'gone' before resuscitation

Denmark's Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest, was 'gone' before resuscitation - team doctor

https://www.espn.com/soccer/denmark-den/story/4407267/denmarks-christian-eriksen-gone-before-cardiac-resuscitation-team-doctor

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen was "gone" before he was resuscitated after suffering a cardiac arrest, the team's doctor, Morten Boesen, said in a news conference Sunday.

Eriksen, 29, is in a stable condition after he was taken to a hospital in Copenhagen on Saturday after he collapsed on the pitch during Denmark's Euro 2020 opener against Finland.

"He was gone, and we did cardiac resuscitation. It was a cardiac arrest," Boesen said. "How close were we [to losing Eriksen]? I don't know.

"We got him back after one defibrillator, so that's quite fast. I'm not a cardiologist, so the details I will leave to the experts at the hospital."

Chinese official dies during investigation into marathon deaths

BEIJING -- A Chinese county official appears to have killed himself during an investigation into the deaths of 21 runners last month during an ultramarathon, state television reported Friday.

CCTV said police were notified Wednesday that a man had jumped from his apartment and died. Upon investigation, he was found to be Jingtai County Communist Party Secretary Li Zuobi. Homicide has been ruled out, according to CCTV.

On Friday, the Gansu provincial government in western China handed down punishments to 27 officials, posthumously exempting Li but sacking his deputy, Zhang Wenling, CCTV reported. Two other lower-ranking officials were detained pending a further investigation, while the others were given administrative punishments, demotions, warnings and demerits.

Amid the harsh weather conditions, about 50 of the more than 170 competitors were given shelter in traditional cave dwellings maintained by shepherds. An all-night rescue mission brought most of them to safety, although several had to be hospitalized.

Seriously *help me* with this - space aliens, LGBTQ, and religion.

I’ve never really understood this.

So the explanation I’ve always heard was that admitting the existence of UFO’s or visitors would freak out the church crowd. I guess “God created everything” only means Earth. Maybe this excuse was just a way to avoid everyone losing their minds.

Now I see that LGBTQ and pronouns are an affront to people’s religion. From the looks of the teacher in Northern Virginia and others I’m going to venture a guess that they are Christians.
The “gay” is the line in Leviticus I’m pretty sure but what part does the pronoun thing violate?

Granted, I get that you can throw up “RELIGIOUS RIGHTS”* and everyone backs away slowly.

I will admit that I was very impressed with the Freedom to Assemble argument they came up with to protest seating restrictions in restaurants and church. I did NOT see that one coming.

*white Christians preferably with a good sensible haircut and family unit.

Univ. Michigan (football) doctor abuse accusations over 4 decades

Bo Schembechler's son says his father knew about University of Michigan doctor's abuse

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/31599673/bo-schembechler-son-says-father-knew-michigan-doctor-abuse

A son of former Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler said he told his father that former team doctor Robert Anderson molested him during a physical exam in the 1960s and that the revered coach ignored the complaint and went out of his way to make sure Anderson kept his role with the team.

Anderson worked at the University of Michigan from 1966 through 2003. During the majority of his time at the school, he worked closely with the athletic department, treating athletes' injuries and conducting annual physicals. Hundreds of former patients -- many of them former Wolverine athletes -- now say that Anderson sexually abused and harassed them in a variety of ways during the treatment of routine medical issues. In interviews and court documents, Anderson's former patients say the doctor assaulted them, fondled them and made an array of inappropriate sexual comments, among many other examples of misconduct. Bo Schembechler died in 2006. Anderson died in 2008.

Anderson continued to treat Michigan's athletes for more than 30 years. Nearly 900 of his former patients have retained legal counsel and claim they were abused by him. Matt also has hired an attorney and is suing the university.

"He was a great coach and made a lot of people happy. He made a ton of money for the University of Michigan filling that stadium up. He provided, for most of those kids that played for him, a great experience. Maybe it was the greatest experience of their life," Matt told ESPN. "I think he was a horrible human being."

Cleveland doctor tells Ohio lawmakers COVID-19 vaccine can leave people magnetized, interfaced with 5G towers
https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-news/anti-vaxxer-tells-ohio-lawmakers-covid-19-vaccine-can-leave-people-magnetized-interfaced-with-5g-towers/

Dr. Sherri Tenpenny testified in favor of House Bill 248 which would keep a business or the government from requiring vaccinations.

During her testimony Tenpenny stated:
“I’m sure you’ve seen the pictures all over the internet of people who have had these shots and now they’re magnetized. They can put a key on their forehead. It sticks. They can put spoons and forks all over them and they can stick, because now we think that there’s a metal piece to that.

“There’s been people who have long suspected that there’s been some sort of an interface, ‘yet to be defined’ interface, between what’s being injected in these shots and all of the 5G towers.”

Pro golfer tests positive for COVID - apparently not vaccinated.

Jon Rahm forced to withdraw from Memorial Tournament with 6-shot lead after positive COVID-19 test

https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/31573312/jon-rahm-forced-withdraw-memorial-tournament-6-shot-lead-positive-covid-19-test

DUBLIN, Ohio -- Jon Rahm, leading the Memorial Tournament by 6 strokes, was informed following Saturday's third round that he tested positive for COVID-19 and was withdrawn from the tournament.

Rahm, 26, had tested negative every day, but his most recent test -- performed following the conclusion of his rain-delayed second round on Saturday morning and before the start of his third round in the afternoon -- returned a positive result at 4:20 p.m. local time, while he was still on the course. A PGA Tour medical advisor requested a confirmatory test on the original sample, which came back positive at 6:05 p.m., just as Rahm was finishing his third round.

Levinson would not disclose whether Rahm had received the COVID-19 vaccine. But under tour protocols that align with CDC guidelines, players who are fully vaccinated are no longer subject to weekly testing; Levinson also said that vaccinated players would not be subject to the contact tracing that Rahm was part of this week.

Levinson said Rahm was taking part in social distancing measures. Those playing with him Saturday, Scottie Scheffler and Patrick Cantlay, were subject to various contact tracing interviews Saturday night. It was unclear if they would need to be tested.

Levinson also said that the PGA Tour membership is slightly above 50% fully vaccinated.
