I again ask that those who post David Packman clips please LABEL them. IMHO, the meager

info they contain is never worth having to endure the manner of presentation.

I ALWAYS feel "Rick-Rolled" when I click on one of those and I ALWAYS click off in disgust.

Do you have a pulse? Can you express yourself in English using (mostly) complete sentences?

Do you have opinions?

Congratulations! You are as qualified as 90% of those now on TV filling air time with totally unsupported speculation and conjecture as to who will win the White House, who will control Congress and which states will vote for each party.

If you intend to apply for an on-air gig, here's a tip: practice reading the phone book with "breathless enthusiasm".

So, Roger Stone, that longtime Trump pal who is almost as pleasant to encounter as a wad of

someone's used toilet paper, is urging his current criminal idol to take "draconian" measures in order to retain power. He has even urged Trump to have GOP officials "physically " block people from voting at the polls, supposedly to prevent "voter fraud".

I am reasonably sure that I am not the only person to read that whose first thought was "Oh, please, Mr. Stone. Go for it! Put your money where your bucket mouth is and come 'physically block' me from voting!"

Just thinking of that has me grinning from ear to ear.

Stressed by Trumpism? That means you are normal. I do not believe it is an exaggeration to

say that each and every day has brought new revelations of actions by this regime that are so unprecedented, so vile, so outrageous that any one of them would have constituted a major scandal in any prior administration and brought DEMANDS for resignation or impeachment. But, today, in this surreal era, we have "had our hair on fire" so many times that we have no strands left to ignite.

Please keep your indignation. Nurture your outrage. Let that desperation you feel gnawing at your sanity impel you to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Of course, be sure you vote effectively, but between now and then, contribute, volunteer, write LTEs, post posters, protest--- if you are able, get into some "good trouble".

Curling up into a ball of stagnant anxiety is exactly what the Trump criminals want us to do.

YOU are normal. Trumpies are the whining screaming minority.

Carry on.

The White House that used to epitomize that "shining city on a hill" has become the

"Island of Broken Toys".

Every one there has broken or missing parts.

I could not count the number of times a poster here has said that "Trump is capable of anything"

and, while I totally agree, I think that needs some "fleshing out". What do you include in "anything"?

Here's what I include.

Trump is capable of ordering the murder of not just those who pose some sort of threat to him, but anyone who pisses him off. If he thought he could for sure get away with it---his arrogance already has him at "maybe"---I have no real doubt he is capable of ordering a hit on me and many other of us faceless Trump haters.

For the right price in cash and/or power, Trump would approve the sale of any quack "medicine" even if scientists predicted it would not just fail to cure anything, but it would kill half the people who used it.

Trump would sell Russia or any other nation the names of all our clandestine foreign agents, our codes or our defensive strategies.

He would not bat an eye at "returning" Alaska to Russia.

He would "suspend" the US Constitution and replace it with Steve Miller's wet dream.

That's just some of my "anything".

When most of us consider the unbelievable courage and grit displayed by the 40 passengers of

Flight 93 on 9-11, we find ourselves with over-welling eyes and a catch in our throat. These people---these heroes---acted as we hope we would have acted; these folks were "America" in a nutshell. We will never know how many lives they saved.

And, since I find other things to do whenever Trump speaks, I do not yet know what he said in his address at Shanksville today, but I wonder: did his remarks include "I don't get it. What was in it for them?"

Anyone who can watch Trump's recent rally speeches without feeling embarrassment and then

outrage is likely beyond hope: they will never again be entitled to the merest shred of respect---none, nada, zero.

Anyone who actually cheers and applauds---or even silently condones---this flailing insanity deserves an old-fashioned punishment: they should be shunned. No violence. No verbal harangues or criticisms. Just consistently let them know they are dead to us; they no longer merit either outrage or attention.

And, to those whose reaction to the above is "some of them weren't do bad" I say your "forgive and forget" attitude will be interpreted as weakness and future Trumps will smilingly recall one of Jim Carrey's best lines---"So you sayin' I've got a chance!"

"Someone said" Trump was once asked what he thought of the Mayo Clinic.

After several seconds of obvious confusion, he screwed up his face and asked "What kind of medical attention could MAYONNAISE possibly need?"
