CORONAVIRUS NEWS: 21 TEACHERS AMONG 50 NYC EDUCATION EMPLOYEES DEAD OF CORONAVIRUS

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- 21 New York City public school teachers are among the 50 Department of Education employees who have died of coronavirus, DOE said Monday.

"Our thoughts are with their families, loved ones, and school communities during this difficult time. Upon notification of each passing the DOE is providing school communities with the mental health and emotional supports to process these losses. We are also supporting staff in notifying their communities in the most appropriate way possible, while respecting the wishes of families," the DOE wrote in a statement.

I am betting that Sweden is going to shut things down soon.

They are the one hold out in Europe still not doing shelter in place. Their number of cases stats look totally bogus as their number of deaths are more in line with countries like Switzerland and Turkey which have around 25,000 confirmed cases and 50,000 confirmed cases. Their figure of 10,000 confirmed cases is total BS with the number of deaths they have and I see exponential growth in the death count.

Interesting. Coronavirus cold viruses from 30 years ago haven't mutated hardly at all.

So likely this coronavirus won't mutate enough this fall to re-infect many people. Fauci seems to think if you get it you will be immune but this fellow isn't 100% convinced. Still very interesting. Flu viruses are not nearly as stable and can change enough in a year that you are no longer immune.

Trump is going to open up the country early and screw this up. Mark my word!

He is NOT a logical, scientific believing person. Deep down we all know he is going to fuck this up. He has NO impulse control as we see with his Twitter addiction. He is out of his mind and he will pull the plug early. This will take right back off, we won't have enough testing or anything prepared and it will be a full blown clusterfuck AGAIN!
