Julian Castro, STFU

I'm sorry, but do you really have to run onto MSNBC immediately after Joe's interview to say that he is in denial. Goes on to trash him. Folks, we are up against the media, lots of Dems who won't be team players, and billionaires. I'm getting pissed.

CNN is already trashing Biden's performance on their homepage

They have two negative headlines and Dr. Gupta their medical analyst is saying Biden needs a cognitive test. I am only posting this to warn you not to watch their analysis.

"Republicans have no principles. Democrats have no spine."

Allan Lichtman, Presidential Historian, just now on Deadline Whitehouse. He went on to say that R's are willing to stick with a candidate whose debate performance was much worse than Biden's. And Dems are running for the hills and throwing Biden to the wolves at the first sign of adversity. He warned that this is a big mistake.

MSNBC trending on twitter

for all the wrong reasons. People see the bias and the obsession with Biden "dropping out." First comment I saw was from BrooklynDadDefiant who really took them to the woodshed (along with CNN). He has more than a million followers. You are not alone if you feel like something is really wrong with even the "progressive" outlets.

Biden hitting it out of the park in Wisconsin

Opening with a hit on cheato saying that we won the Revolutionary War by taking the "airports" from the British. Then followed up with, talk about me misspeaking!

Voice sounds great. Crowd sounds "jacked". Keeping it simple, keeping it clear, keeping it confident.

Will the NYT call cheato out on his lie about Project 2025?

JUST KIDDING!!!!

And even if they do a drive by mention of it, it will be completely lost in all the anti-Biden front page stories. Disgraceful. His claim not to know the people responsible is easily proven and very consequential. But the corporate media will go along with it.

Kamala and I go way back

Well, not really, but sort of. She lived for awhile in a town just a few miles from me and spent much of the last few decades in the SF Bay Area. During the Bush years, she ran for Attorney General of our great state and I was on her e-mail list. She once sent me a recipe for her family's Thanksgiving stuffing recipe that I still use. (She may have sent it to a few others, LOL.) I was a supporter through her campaign for AG and a contributor. I got to meet her a few times.

I've seen her in lots of situations and I know that she has a GREAT personality. If you just became aware of her during her VP years, you would not know how engaging, warm, and intelligent she is. She is an especially gifted prosecutor and legal scholar as well.

There is no real reason that she shouldn't be our candidate either now or in 2028. Any suggestion of that is rooted in racism and sexism, period.

We are lucky to have her.

Bravo to MSNBC for mentioning that cheato called Kamala an expletive today

Boo, hiss for not saying what the expletive was. They actually played a video of him sitting in his golf cart saying something about her, but bleeped the offensive words. WHY?

You know, the media has taken up Peter Baker's accusation that Biden is wrapped in bubbled wrap. What do they call this? They are shielding cheato from his own words.

After torrents of anti Biden angst, this is how they attempt to balance things out?
Week sauce, MSNBC.

I read DU every day and I haven't noticed

people demanding that Joe Biden drop out. To be honest, I don't remember one OP demanding that, and I'm not sure I remember more than one or two comments in that vein either.

Of course I could have missed them. But I don't have anyone on ignore or any subjects blocked, so I don't think there could have been too many.

With respect, I think that some DUers are interpreting criticism of Biden as demands that he drop out. And criticism can be tough to deal with when many of us think that we will literally sink or swim together. Most of my political activism is in organized labor where unity is the eleventh commandment. So I get it.

Still, this is a difficult situation and I feel that reasonable criticism of the campaign, and especially criticism of the corporate media is also healthy and can be productive.

I have tried to keep my comments in this spirit and I hope that I haven't offended anyone.

So I guess RFK went on wherever Chris Cuomo works now and said

he wouldn't eat a human. Please make it stop.
