Just Listening To Trump's WH Lawn Press Conference With Acosta - This Popped Into My Mind.....

Trump singing Barbara Streisand's "Don't Rain On My Parade" from Funny Girl.

Instead of Mr. Arnstein - I hear him singing "Hey Mr. Epstein - here I am."

A Quote From The Movie 'The Beach Bum' That Really Rubbed Me The Wrong Way When I Heard It......

Here's the quote by Jonah Hill as Lewis, Moondog's Agent (Matthew McConaughey):

You know what I like the most about being rich? You can just be horrible to people and they just have to take it.

I know it was just a movie quote - but given the climate we are in this country now under Trump - is this really how rich people think?

Thoroughly Enjoyed The Movie 'Yesterday' And Recommend You See It......

If you like 'Beatles' music, fantasy and rom-coms you will really enjoy this movie. It is a 'feel-good' movie that allowed me to (for 116 minutes) take my mind off of the political situation we find ourselves in today.

Many laugh out loud moments in the film. Wanted to sing along during the whole movie. It was well acted with many twists and turns that were unexpected and it kept me wanting for more. This is one of those movies that you don't want to see end.

Hamish Patel (of Slumdog fame) was perfect as an entertainer that was ready to give it up when the world experienced a 12 second blackout. When he woke up he quickly realized that no one knew about the Beatles and they didn't exist. As he sung some of their tunes - he was immediately recognized as a world class composer/writer of songs (the Beatle songs). Then we watched his journey into pop stardom compliments of Ed Sheeran and Kate McKinnon while in the background we watched his relationship with Ellie (a childhood friend and his roadie manager that believed in him).

I was completely blown away by a surprise twist near the end of the film that became Jack's (Patel's) turning point. I felt Jack's frustration when he burst into the Beatles song 'Help' and maybe realized why the Beatles wrote the song in the first place.

I grew up through the Beatles era and this movie particularly hit home for me. I'm sure it will spawn a new Beatles following for those that see this film and discover the Beatles for the first time.

I don't think it was that critically acclaimed because it was criticized for the fantasy that created the premise of the film. For those of you that read critic reviews of films and choosel to avoid so-so reviewed films - you are missing something if you don't see this film.

I can't wait to see it again and will buy the DVD when available so that I can re-live the joy I felt as I walked out of the theatre after watching it.

It's not often I see a movie - that when it ends and the credits are rolling - that the theatre breaks out in applause.

All In All - Did Trump's July 4th Event Come Off The Way He Wanted?.....

Are the reviews all in? Was this a success? Rate the following: crowd size; staging; speech; military hardware; parade; flyover; fireworks; etc.

Is Trump happy with it? Can we trust any pics of crowd size? Will we get any aerial views of crowd? Was his VIP section filled? Did they have to bus in fillers?

What kind of media coverage did the event get? What is the media saying today about the event?

Did the weather compromise the event in any way?

Can we believe anything Trump says about the event?

What was the estimated cost?

What Is The Breaking Point Of Dealing With Trump's Dangerous, Criminal and Treasonous.....

actions? He is destroying this democracy. Everybody sees it. Everybody is watching it happening. Everybody is acknowledging he is doing this. So I ask - how much more are we going to tolerate of his antics before people in this government, in the security sector, in the military, etc are going to put their foot down and do something about him? How much more are we going to tolerate? How much more will the MSM normalize his actions before they realize he is destroying this democracy?

Is Any Part Of Trump's July 4th Display Being Televised?......

The way to really piss Trump off on his big party is to completely ignore it. Don't televise it. Encourage people in DC not to go anywhere near it.

It would be great if there was a picture from the air of the attendance and it was even less people than attended his inauguration.

Does anyone know if there are going to be counter protests in D.C.?
