Looking forward to Holy Week and Pascha (Orthodox - May 1)

I have a long week of services ahead starting tomorrow morning with Divine Liturgy for the Saturday of Lazarus. Then all week morning and evening. The Greek Orthodox Church I attend is 27 miles away and usually in the evenings I take a friend who lives 10 miles away. I love the services but sometimes, I admit, my mind wanders and it gets a bit tedious.

Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

(I'm really going to enjoy meat and cheese on Pascha)

Just got a phone call from DSCC

and I told the man that I would choose individually which candidates for Senate to support during the primary season.

He was quite pleasant and still asked for a contribution (I have donated before) but I said only after the primaries.

He verified that the DSCC only picks one Democratic candidate during a primary and I told him that is why I won't donate to DSCC during a primary.

Lord, have mercy! While I was talking to my parish priest:

I got my 1st ever hide for stating my opinion. No personal attack whatsoever.

Explanation: I agree this post is idiotic. I agree the poster is an ass. I do not think this rises to the level of an alert.
Let the poster defend their statement if it can be defended.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: If you're going to play in the cesspool, take it like an adult. I will not hide unless it meets one of the criteria for a hide. This is far from that. No personal insults, or OTT.

Is Hillary staying in pending indictment

just to keep Bernie from getting the nomination?

If so, why?

Chris Matthews: "I think Sanders is going to overtake Hillary in the national numbers,

unless he takes a crushing defeat in New York tomorrow. If he has a competitive race tomorrow in New York, I think he'll continue to be in the passing lane and be ahead of her by next week. That's my hunch."

To think that Tweety is saying this!

April 15, 2016

There she went again: "I tried to have your back and time and time again you had mine"

It seems she didn't have their back but they had hers.

That sounds a lot like "I've always tried to tell the truth". Saying you tried means you didn't succeed.

As Hillary Loses Big Again, AP Plays the Race Card to Explain Away Sanders' Wisconsin Win

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/tom-blumer/2016/04/05/hillary-loses-big-again-ap-plays-race-card-explain-away-sanders

"Despite headlining the story at its front page as relating to Cruz, AP's story covered both races. Here what Julie Pace and Scott Bauer wrote about Sanders' victory ...

draping front-runners Trump and Clinton in uncertainty and preventing both from fully setting their sights on the general election.

For Sanders, Wisconsin was favorable territory, with an overwhelming white electorate and liberal pockets of voters
"
....
Darn that Bernie Sanders. He's winning in predominantly white states and distracting Mrs. Clinton from the all-important task of winning the general election."
