After watching BBC's 'Being Human', I can never go back to 'True Blood'

The series in about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who live under the same rood. Not every vampire is rich and drop-dead gorgeous. Not every were is a biker. It's well-scripted and well-acted with great music in every episode. True Blood feels so shallow after watching Season One of Being Human.

Texas Democratic State Sen. Wendy Davis’ Fort Worth Office Firebombed

FORT WORTH — Police are trying to identify the man who entered the West 7th office of State Sen. Wendy Davis Tuesday afternoon and threw two firebombs just outside the door.

Two staffers were in the third floor office when the attack occurred around 4 o'clock. One of them had to leap over the flames to escape, then went to the break room, grabbed an extinguisher and put out the fire.

Investigators said Sen. Davis was not in the office at the time of the incident, but was at her law office closer to downtown Fort Worth.

A staffer told News 8 the Democratic lawmaker was alerted about what happened and that security at Davis' other local office was tightened as a result.

IL vote shows a HUGE divide between rural and suburban counties.

Rmoney must have won the state on suburban turnout because he getting his clock cleaned downstate by Man-on-Dog. The vote percentages are total mirror opposites.

Before we start bashing Mormons this year, let me say this.

Mitt Rmoney is an asshole not because he is Mormon, but because he is an asshole. I've gotten to know many member of the LDS over the years. Some are Democrats, some are Republicans. Some are good friends of the GLBT community and others are very far to the right. But the one thing they all had in common is that they were among the kindest people you will ever meet, including my son's afterschool teacher. So I hope that, when we go after Rmoney, we do so based on WHO he is, not WHAT he is.

Rick Santorum calls Puerto Rico ‘a Spanish-speaking country

Rick Santorum delivered yet another gaffe about Puerto Rico on Sunday as voters there head to the polls for the Republican primary.

The former Pennsylvania senator referred to the United States commonwealth as a “Spanish-speaking country” on ABC’s “This Week.”

Although Santorum was quick to fix his mistake, it was yet another example of how the presidential wanna-be has stumbled in his efforts to gain support among the island’s Republican voters.

Santorum made the error while he was trying to explain his previous comments that Puerto Rico's residents would have to speak English as a condition of being admitted as the U.S.'s 51st state.

Even Haley Barbour couldn't vote for Romney

Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour told ABC's Jonathan Karl Sunday that he voted for Newt Gingrich last week in his state's GOP primary. He said he voted for him as a friend.

From ABC:

“I didn’t endorse anybody [before the primary],” Barbour told me. “I didn’t want to try to influence anybody’s vote, so beforehand I didn’t say who I voted for. But Newt and I have been friends a long, long time… Out of friendship, I voted for Newt.”
