We absolutely have to send people in there, because what would happen if they dropped even further and poor Saudi Arabia started feeling the effects?

Saudi Arabia has done SO MUCH for us in the past. We must do something to stir up the Middle East so that gas prices can rise again.

Dozens of us on DU know exactly where we are headed and why we are headed there. This is a "soft" war. It is absolutely designed to warrant gas prices being raised.

I'm eating a late night snack of Red Beans and Rice because I am hungry and need to rejuvenate my back and arms after a workout.

I'll use my number to discuss quitting smoking

to rant about the media reaction to e-cigarettes. I quit smoking because of them. Yes, I like a puff off of an e-cigarette every now and then, but they aren't going to kill me as fast as I was dying to cigarettes.

I run now because my lungs function, I lift weights because I'm not sluggish due to lack of oxygen, and I smell infinitely better than a day old ashtray.

I had to explain an e-cigarette to my 82 year old father who was afraid I was in a cult and doing drugs how they work.

Lay the hell off, everybody, and let people freaking quit smoking. I quit drinking coffee two and a half years ago, because nothing compares to that experience. I quit doing things that I associate with smoking - yeah I'm different, I don't want to start back up.
I have dreams about the shit. I wake up relieved, in a cold sweat, that I haven't smoked.

I have a little pack of cigarettes shrine that I look at - it's 6 cigarettes, in a sealed pack. They are there if I crack. But I absolutely refuse to crack.

I have decided not to kill myself anymore by smoking. I run, work out, and I am healthier than I have been in years.

Can you quit making e-cigarettes out to be the greatest sin known to mankind?

I am committed to him as a candidate. Hell, sending 15 cents is better than taking the status quo without doing anything.

It looks like Hillary Clinton proved her stuff

It also looks like to me that the Washington Elite would rather have Hillary because Bernie is gaining on her. Teapublicans want anybody but Hillary with the exception of Bernie.

Don't be fooled - this was theater. We're going to hear 24/7 how Presidential she is, but a deal was cut.

Washington does not want Bernie, and that's exactly why we need him.

If pirates kept parrots, how did they get seed for them? They have a specific diet.

I would like to see voting by mail across the US.

Some states have mail out votes. To me, that seems the most reasonable. It's verification that you actually live there, one ballot per voter, and everyone participates.

I am highly concerned about the electronic voting systems we have. Diebold is run by Republicans - which is why I am convinced they were certain that Romney would win, but didn't.

I'm not going to throw around conspiracy theories, but the bottom line is that if we actually want people to vote (which apparently many don't want too many of the "wrong" people participating in democracy) we need to make it more accessible, more fair and more VERIFIABLE.

Voting software has been proven to not be reliable - it's no black box. Everyone that gripes about internet polls being unreliable needs to turn their concern, outrage and fears where the real problem is - THE REAL POLLS getting gamed.

That is not to say you shouldn't go vote if you live in an area where electronic voting is the method at the polls, I just think we would be doing a better service to our country and to voters if we did voting by mail.

Ordered a new motherboard because mine bit the dust ( From New Egg)

I have probably spent, over the years $30,000 with New Egg building computers for myself, for clients, and for business.

I am, to put it mildly, incensed.

It took forever to get here, and I'm pissed that my Hyper 212 cooler won't fit unless I move the RAM to slots 2 and 4. I have RipJaws with factory heat sinks.

Who on God's green earth designs a motherboard for two video cards that can't accommodate heatsinks on the RAM modules!?

I'll find a way to make it work, but frankly, Newegg has finally, utterly and totally lost my business.
