If we aren't speaking, its cool (I love you and I wish you well). If you feel I wronged you, I apologize. Life is too short for all the pent-up anger, holding grudges, and extra pain! Mark Meadowss is dumber than a doorknob
He left a trail wider than a 4 lane highway about his sedition and conspiracy to insurrection. Hopefully the evidence of his crimes will ensnare all the congress critters, who colluded and participated with him.
Evil and troubles galore befall on anyone, who delusionally thinks that latching on to Trump's coattails will be advantageous. Sow the wind; reap the whirlwind.
It doesn't matter

It doesn't matter when life begins.
It doesn't matter if it's a fetus or another human being.
The entire argument is a distraction, a red herring, a subjective and unwinnable argument that could not matter less.
It doesn't matter whether we are talking about a fertilized egg, a fetus, or a baby, or a 5 year old, or a Nobel Prize winning pediatric oncologist.
NOBODY has the right to use your body against your will, even to save their life, or the life on another person.
That's it! That's the argument.
You cannot be forced to donate blood, or marrow, or organs, even though thousands die every year on waiting lists.
They cannot even harvest your organs after you die without your explicit, written pre-mortem permission.
Denying women the right to abortion means we would have less bodily autonomy than a corpse.
Effects of School Shooting
I am quite unsettled by the Crumbley school shooting. How many lives have been ruined, disturbed? I suspect that a lot of blame rests on the Cavalier and depraved indifference of the parents. Clearly the kid was deeply disturbed. Were the parents so self concerned that they neglected to notice their son was deeply depressed, feeling confused and hopeless? geeezzz! Did his parents seek help or counseling for that boy? Who buys a pistol as a Christmas present for a teenager? I can see buying a hunting rifle that is kept in a locked gun case and used only with supervision at a gun range or out hunting. But a pistol, loaded with bullets? No way.
And now that boy has ruined his life. Ruined his parents' lives. If there are siblings, they'll go into foster homes. How swell will that be? Ruined the lives of the victims' families. Disturbed all the kids in that school and their families. Ditto the larger community of that city and county. And the wider community of millions of people who learn about the event thru the news. All because his parents thought it was ok for a teen to have unsupervised access to a pistol, a loaded pistol.
I hope each parent will sit in a small gray cell for decades and decades with nothing to do but contemplate how they got themselves there.
May all beings be free of suffering, and free of the causes and conditions of suffering.
Can we start our own project for a constitutional amendment
to protect a woman's right to control her own body? Put it right up there with our right to vote project.
Getting rid of Roe will not get rid of abortions
Women have been surreptitiously terminating pregnancies for thousands of years. They have jumped out of windows, thrown themselves down stairs, eaten poison, and used coat hangers. Why would that be any different in the 21st century?
Women will drink bleech and bug poison, jump out of windows, and visit Auntie Coat-hanger Katie and Hatpin Hattie. Illegal dirty septic abortions will become a thriving back street business. Women will show up at ERs profusely bleeding and/or deathly pale from drinking poison. But of course the self-righteous assholes don't give a damn about life.
I just can't get over the Waukesha parade massacre
My god, this was a community family event. Not a political rally, or a protest. A family event. High school kids in marching bands. High school cheerleaders waving from Christmas-themed floats. Little kids holding grandpa's hand to see Santa and his elves. Street vendors selling hot coffee and doughnuts.
What was that jerk thinking? Whatever he was fleeing could not possibly have been as bad as what he did. I just shake my head in disbelief at the recklessness and indifference to the harm, pain, and suffering that he inflicted. Where did such a person grow up? Was he raised in a barn without any moral instruction about right and wrong?
Does Wisc have the death penalty? If so, this guy has a cell on death row awaiting him. And now, he has ruined his life also. I just don't get it.
