Hillary on MSNBC

March 23, 2016

I want to know.

Bernie has next to no path to the nomination given his delegate deficit. He needs to get 65% of remaining delegates to tie Hillary.

He isn't going to do that tonight. So tomorrow he will need a greater percentage depending on delegates won tonight. The number of delegates available keeps going down as do the number of state primaries.

All states award delegates proportionally. The states where Hillary has the biggest leads are closed primaries as is AZ tonight. Hillary has been getting a higher number of Dem votes than Bernie. He can't possibly win those states with a high enough percentage of delegates to close the gap. Hillary will get delegates in the states where Bernie wins. If the spread narrows it also opens back up larger than before.

If you don't accept the math then we have nothing to talk about.

If you do then why bash or presumptive nominee on this board any longer? Our mutual enemy is Trump or Cruz.

Why not bash them?

Maybe you support Trump or Cruz I don't know. If that is the case then shouldn't the rest of us put a stop to that?

We can retain the White House. We can retake the Senate and maybe even the House. We can have a liberal Supreme Court.

Bernie's revolution can continue. You can still build a movement for single payer and free tuition and everything else Bernie stands for. Hillary as President would not veto single payer if it got to her desk. Basically she stands for every thing Bernie does.

Our best chance for change begins when we begin to pull together to GOTV for November and for the off years too.

Bernie will be in the Senate as will Warren and I hope Kamilla Harris and Russ Feingold.

We need to stop fighting each other and man the phones for down ticket candidates so we can take back state legislatures. We need our people in charge of redistricting.

The narrative created about Hillary here this primary season is a false narrative. Supporting it only helps the right. They brought it here and many of us adopted it.

Do I want Bernie to drop out? Yes I do for the above reasons not because Hillary need him to to win.

If Bernie were in the position that Hillary is I would have the same feelings about him after much healing of the wounds inflicted here.

So how long until we start fighting the right instead of each other?

If you are one who won't vote for Hillary in the general you could change your mind or you could keep it to yourself since your taking yourself out of the game.

Does the DNC run the election in AZ?

A caller to Thom Hartman's show says the DNC and Hillary are turning away Bernie voters in AZ.

Thom told her not to get too much into conspiracy thinking but then said it is too bad if it were true.

The delusion could be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

On edit: she said if you are not on the voter rolls you are being turned away

Sanders has taken in $96.3 million and has spent $81.6 million. There are 4 months left until the

convention.

Given that he is behind in delegates and needs 65% of remaining delegates to catch Hillary, and given that the the percentage he needs goes up every time he he doesn't reach the amount needed, I don't think he will have cash enough to make it to the convention.

At least he won't be able to afford the campaign he has been running. He paid Ted Devine $850K for one month.

But maybe he can get people to fund a losing cause I don't know.

So why all the glee that a fascist pig repub is going to beat the Democratic candidate that

a majority of Democrats have voted for in the primaries?

March 18, 2016

Well Bernie is going to be on Rachael Maddow's show in a few minutes.

I hear the Bernie folks don't watch Rachael any more.

Damn media blackout anyway!

Advice to Bernie supporters.

Whether you vote in November for the nominee or not is not dependent on us.

We have the chance to retain the White House

We have the chance of retaking the Senate

We have the chance to put a liberal majority on the Supreme Court.

We have a chance to make real change.

It is up to you if you are a part of that or not.

We don't run your lives for you.

And the shit we've taken for the past few months doesn't die easily. Your efforts have not gotten the results you hoped for and now you want us to play nice.

Reconciliation is a two way street
