Another grift? Just a sore loser? Or both?

Current headline in the Daily Fail

[link:https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9765073/Trump-announce-class-action-lawsuits-today-against-Facebook-Twitter.html|]

Not posting the copy in the article cause the far right spin they put on everything makes me want to heave. However have of course provided the link if you want to risk a click! LOL

Apparently Trump is going to do a press conference 11 am your time EST - to announce he is going to sue big tech yet again demonstrating that he has less of an understanding of the constitution than me as a Brit living 4000 miles away, she says modestly

So one has to consider his motivation for doing this? Is it just so he can potentially elbow his way back on the platforms to incite hatred and insurrection and try and overthrow the government? Probably that is part of it. But I have to tell ya if it is a class action suit how many readies do you thing he is planning to squeeze out of his far right cult members who have been given the boot from polite society to join in? Loads of money! Of course America First (So NAZI) is involved supporting the sore loser grifter in failed chief he be.

GOP congressman admits his party wants 'chaos and inability to get stuff done': leaked video

Newly leaked video footage of a recent event hosted by the right-wing group Patriot Voices shows Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas openly admitting that his party wants "18 more months of chaos and the inability to get stuff done" as President Joe Biden, a bipartisan group of senators, and congressional Democrats work to pass climate and infrastructure legislation.

"Honestly, right now, for the next 18 months, our job is to do everything we can to slow all of that down to get to December of 2022," Roy says in the clip, referring to the month after that year's midterm elections. Republicans need to flip just a handful of seats to take back the House and Senate.

"I don't vote for anything in the House of Representatives right now," Roy says in response to an audience member's question about the sweeping infrastructure and safety-net package that Democrats are planning to pass unilaterally alongside a White House-backed bipartisan deal.

Emphasis mine

Saying the quiet bit out loud is the new norm with these nasty wankers. His electorate cannot expect him to do his actual job as a lawmaker - that would be outrageous! 👀

Trump told chief of staff Hitler 'did a lot of good things', book says

On a visit to Europe to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war, Donald Trump insisted to his then chief of staff, John Kelly: “Well, Hitler did a lot of good things.”
---
But Bender says unnamed sources reported that Kelly “told the president that he was wrong, but Trump was undeterred”, emphasizing German economic recovery under Hitler during the 1930s.

“Kelly pushed back again,” Bender writes, “and argued that the German people would have been better off poor than subjected to the Nazi genocide.”

Bender adds that Kelly told Trump that even if his claim about the German economy under the Nazis after 1933 were true, “you cannot ever say anything supportive of Adolf Hitler. You just can’t.”
---
Senior officials described his understanding of slavery, Jim Crow, or the Black experience in general post-civil war as vague to nonexistent,” he writes. “But Trump’s indifference to Black history was similar to his disregard for the history of any race, religion or creed.”

Could it be that they are just batshit cray cray?

https://twitter.com/patriottakes/status/1412561302896078850

Trump is Q and they are all off the scale in conspiracy and outright nuttiness... on the bright side if this lot are behind the planned rethroning of the naked emperor in August I don't think anyone back on planet reality has that much to worry about.

You need to big up the picture of the board and have a good look at it all. It is something very very special... my favourite bit...

Highlighting in yellow mine

Jesus is King and Trump?!?! Heh. What are they looking for? Him rising from the political graveyard? Or his second coming in August?

Could be that batshit cray cray is the whole point for the most ardent of the cult?

Are you still going to mask up?

Listening to Boris and his proclamations yesterday about Freedumb Day for England made me wince. I just do not trust this government to make decisions based on the best interests of the citizens of the UK, ever. Just like when Cameron called the Brexit referendum, every decision ever made by the Tories is about power plays and internal party politics.

I have not had Covid - that I know about - and I live my life with an abundance of pandemic caution. I am double dosed and have been for a while. I hate wearing a mask - just like everyone on the planet, my glasses steaming up constantly is a ball ache - however I will still mask up come the 19th July 2021. Enclosed busy spaces are a petri dish for infection, and quite frankly having got knocked on my backside after my second jab, I not only have no interest in getting the virus, I am very sure that if I am infected and showing no symptoms because I am vaccinated the last thing I will want to risk is passing that infection on to a vulnerable person.

Don't get me wrong, I am no fanatic. If I am standing on a tube platform with no-one anywhere near me - the mask will be off in a heartbeat, but what does it cost us to keep doing what we have been compelled to do through law for the last 12 months, while the virus infection rate is going through the roof?

Conversely of course, many people will say enough is enough and take those masks and metaphorically speaking burn them on the 19th, never to seen under their chin again.

What are you planning to do? Risk averse or risk taker?!?!?!

As an aside - did you see the poll today that Brexiteers were twice as likely to bin masks than remainers... SURPRISE!

Giuliani's legal defense fund begging site as successful as his attempts to overturn democracy...

@JanNWolfe

With Trump reportedly refusing to pay Rudy's invoices for trying to overthrow democracy, and not chatting with him anymore - who did he think was going to help him with this. If you are in the outs with the Cult Leader the Cult is not going to have your back anymore old man... $5 million? He is having a laugh.

You know what I love most about this? Is that a male pale and stale privileged dilettante that has stuck his two fingers up to law and order just cause he could, may be about to find out what the American justice system looks like when you cannot afford the best representation (and buy your way out of actual punishment, effectively), and end up feeling the very sharp end of the repercussions of your actions. Ouch! LOL

Rep Eric Swalwell brings the fire

You helped fire up a mob to attack the police. An officer died.

Ted Cruz @tedcruz
The idea that Republicans, and not Democrats, have defunded the police is like an arsonist showing up as the fire’s blazing and blaming the firemen; it’s like O.J. saying he’s going to help find the real killer.
It’s ridiculous. And Democrats know it. https://foxnews.com/opinion/dems-defund-police-rising-crime-rates-sen-ted-cruz

Hypocrisy was built for them...

White supremacists do what I say not what I do.
Who is the patriot? Those who want to build a better community for everyone or those who would tear everything down to prevent POC having true equality? I think we all know the answer to this one!

Matt Gaetz: Russia has a military advantage because they don't deny their 'white rage'

In comments made to The Spectator, Gaetz seemed to be annoyed by Gen. Mark Milley, who schooled the congressman in a hearing last month about the importance of studying critical race theory (CRT) and "white rage."

"Nobody in Russia is quivering over their 'white rage' — whatever that is,' Gaetz said. "In China, they spend money modifying submarines, not the genders of service-members."

"And I'm going to battle against this," he continued. "Only a Benedict Arnold would surrender the Pentagon to the Woketopia without a fight."

Can you imagine even a decade ago, a sitting member bigging up the military of any authoritarian state - cause they are racist - never mind Russia. But RUSSIA? How the world turns. Traitor and racist in one sentence.

“Here’s my strategy on the Cold War – we win, they lose.” said Ronald Reagan, June 1988. Heh, maybe not so much.
