And tell Manchin they may have another vote for it as it is now. Make him sweat it out and vote no, and my guess is he'll reverse his position rather than do what he said he would do. That way it gets passed without it being weakened more by Manchin, and stop being bullied into everything , and every time getting bills stripped down by him. If that fails so what, he won't vote for it anyway. He'll continue making up excuses why he can't vote for it.

For passage of the BBB bill Democrats need to in greater numbers start publicly repeating how many children will be forced back into poverty with a no vote, elderly care and Medicare expanding to cover eye , hearing, and dental coverage will be denied with a no vote, help with child care will be refused, newer green jobs will be gone, and more, and how this bill will benefit us all, without mentioning names.
Today the President addressing the country needs to start saying, and other Democrats repeating, that this virus is not a hoax, and reminding others why so many are against doing what's needed now from lies they've been told about it, and masking, and vaccinations. Messaging has to get better, and repeated a lot more, and Americans reminded who lies to them, and who doesn't. If they don't, the liars will continue to win.
