Sorry, went through twice.... But same sentiment....go Blue

I voted today, as I do every election….on Election Day. Today was a phenomenal day, as I selected the one button to select every democrat on the ballot. Down ballot is extremely important too.

When you hear MAGAs or even conservatives say democrats just want to tax and spend, tax and spend….yeah, right, don’t believe it. I live in red state Lyndsey Graham, Nancy Mace S.C. The major state components were all for increase taxes. Several no votes from me.

How about your voting experience, tell us how it went………go BLUE

Where we need to push

As a reminder, our system of presidential elections consists of an Electoral College . What does that mean?

The Electoral College is a process, not a place. The Founding Fathers established it in the Constitution, in part, as a compromise between the election of the President by a vote in Congress and election of the President by a popular vote of qualified citizens. The Electoral College consists of 538 electors. A majority of 270 electoral votes is required to elect the President. Your State has the same number of electors as it does Members in its Congressional delegation: one for each Member in the House of Representatives plus two Senators. For more info on this go to the National Achives website…..archives.gov

As many may know and may not, during a presidential election, our country has somewhat specific states that are acknowledged as leaning toward specific parties, as an example….

My old state Maryland is a blue state, vote majority democrat, and has 10 Electoral College vote
My new state South Carolina is a red state and votes majority republican and has 9 Electoral College votes.

In the 2024 election consensus, democrats start the Election Day process with presumptive votes of 226, and republican start with 219. As we know 270 is needed to win. So what is my point. The way the map looks as of now, the swing states needed to get 270 would be Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. These 3 swing states will give VP Harris 270 on the nose. Nevada would add an extra 6 vote.

I have been seeing some somewhat negative responses on here recently, and just want to point out, it’s not an impossible task, an unlikely task, or a lost cause. WE GOT THIS DEMOCRATS. We can do it. NO NEGATIVE ATTITUDES PLEASE.

THANK YOU.

Keep pushing

There is not nearly enough talk about getting out the vote. I saw a text on here a day ago saying Pennsylvania democrats was the lowest in several election cycles. I also am not hearing about Georgia, Arizona and other states that will put us over the 270 electoral college votes. Tell me what you are seeing, hearing.

Let’s go democrats. Let’s get the down ballot votes out and win these elections big.

He is scared shitless

He knows what’s happening. He desperately wants to be able to have President Biden back. He want so badly to have President Biden debate him again, hoping he will slip up.

He knows his VP pick is horrendous, and he knows the democrats have a phenomenal VP pick. He know VP Harris is going to win.

Worse of all he knows he is going to prison.

This is why the presser. I stopped in just a second, and all I can say is damn his ear looks great after being shot by an AR-15… 😑
🖕🏻 Yeah, I said it.

Thank You

Thank you President Biden for your service to your country. The decision you made, most likely with close family and friends is the correct decision, if you feel it is the correct decision. I will salute you and continue to be a devoted democrat to you and all democrats who serve. As you continue to carry out your remaining term, please remember the strong majority has and will always will be on your side, and after your term, I wish you a phenomenal retirement.

What I think Should happen

I am not saying I am an expert in anything about running this country, but I have some ideas I think might help, and want you all to chime in. If President Biden and/or any of his administration read DU posts, please read this…..(again, these are my opinions)

1. When doing interviews, campaign stops, etc., maybe say “my administration and I are working on…”, “ I’ve met with my administration on this and WE are working out….”
This will show to the media, nay sayers, the world, that President Biden is not alone in his job, that he has many top professional, brilliant people working with him, and his age is meaningless.
2. Do some more townhall style meetings, no moderators. No reporters, just voters, President Biden and some administration to answer questions on social security, Medicare, TSA, Project 2025, Trump, etc. Not that President Biden can’t handle it alone, but having the head of TSA or Sec of Education, etc can help with specific aspects.

If anyone thinks of other things to give Trump the boot and President Biden the Oval Office for the next 4 years, give a shout.
