ST PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Democrats’ 2024 candidate for vice president, is ending his bid for a third term amid President Donald Trump’s relentless focus on a fraud investigation into the state’s child care programs and its Somali community.
Less than four months after announcing his reelection campaign, Walz said Monday that negative attention and Republican attacks have contributed to an “extraordinarily difficult year for our state,” making it impossible for him to serve full time as governor while also being a candidate to keep his job.
“Every minute that I spend defending my own political interest would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who want to prey on our differences,” Walz said at the state capitol. “So I’ve decided to step out of this race, and I’ll let others worry about the election while I focus on the work that’s in front of me for the next year.”

So did anyone else see the story on NBC News tonight? NBC intimated that the reason why Walz was not running was due to fraud in his government, intimating that he is responsible for the fraud. They even showed the X post of the idiot, right winger that went around to daycare centers trying to prove fraud. What is going on with our news sources???????

Recent story in Yahoo details how Chase knew Epstein was a POS but loved his money more, and allowed him to continue to do business. Special rules for special people. I hope to God that Jamie Dimon loses his f’ing job. Can’t help but wonder if this will affect Chase’s bottom line.

Ghislaine Maxwell, who sources told ABC News initiated the meetings with the Department of Justice, answered questions for about nine hours over two days after being granted a limited form of immunity, the sources said.
The immunity allowed Maxwell to freely answer Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's questions without fear that her responses could later be used against her, the sources said.
The so-called proffer immunity is commonly granted to individuals prosecutors are seeking to make cooperators in a criminal case. Maxwell has already been tried, convicted and sentenced for sex trafficking underage girls.

I Just Had a Crazy Thought
The Barbie movie just came on. Does anyone else wonder if this election result is male backlash to this movie? God forbid women should chart their own path and make their own decisions. I do remember when this movie came out, it was not well received by a certain percentage of the population. it’s just so very hard for me to understand how ANYONE could feel Donald Trump is the answer to any of our problems. The election makes it seem that women really have not made that much progress. It’s like we’ve been sold a bill of goods. It’s all about control and domination.
