Is it better to write to representatives at their DC office or one of their District Offices? Some have 3 or 4 district offices. TIA.
He ordered flags at federal buildings fly half staff.
But he said he also ordered states to do the same. Can he do that? Seems to me it would be up to states.
It's begun
The detention and deportation process has begun. In my backyard practically. Who's going to mow the lawns at Bedminster if the landscapers are gone? Or prepare his food? Or do the dishes and cleanup?
They're complaining now about the cost of eggs. Wait until a head of lettuce costs $10.00.

Early voting
I live in the most Italian town in the country-very Catholic and very Republican. 70% voted for 45 in 2020. Local Democrats don’t even run for office because they would surely lose.
Our daughter went for coffee this morning. She made a joke that there was a Trump rally in the park, where our recreation offices reside and where the entire town votes. Early voting started today. The line was from the building to the street and down the avenue.
I lost friends in 2020 arguing that mail in voting (only method due to Covid) was safe. Well, I guess they feel early voting is ok, because these early voters are absolutely Republican. So, when you see on television that the Republicans have an edge in early voting, believe it. I know that my state will go blue, but it is concerning.
And from local Facebook posts, I noticed that the cultists in my area are more brainwashed and vicious than they were in 2016.

From rural Ohio
In early September, we stopped in Savannah, GA on our way to FL. Of course there were confederate flags along I-95 and lots of TFG signs that sounded like he was the second coming of Christ. I was shocked that the NBC affiliate sounded like Fox News instead of just local news!
We are currently in Ohio about an hour south of Columbus. I am surprised to see more Harris/Walz signs than TFG. In the really rural farm areas you can see the GOP signs, but not what you would think. There are more Republican signs in my hometown!

Wildwood
TFG was in Wildwood, NJ last night. He allegedly drew a big crowd. A few things to point out:
1. Wildwood is in Ocean County, one of the reddest counties in the country.
2. People from northern NJ are at the shore anyway opening their beach houses for the start of summer in a couple weeks.
3. TFG just can’t stop lying - He said he could win NJ 😂😂😂 and that Phil Murphy (D), the governor, said NJ economy was never better than when he was president. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
TFG hurt New Jersey (along with NY, CA and CT) more than any president is history.

Can't play media
For the past 2 weeks or so, I can't access video. It says "The media cannot be played."
I have an older phone (4 years) that doesn't update anymore. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Can anyone help?
