Jspur's JournalI heard Trump was the no war President
from a lot of idiots who voted for him during the '24 election and that Kamala would have gotten the US into wars. More egg on the face of MAGA but unfortunately we also suffer by their stupid decisions.
Can someone explain these new 10 percent tarrifs Trump is imposing and how he was able to get
passed the Supreme court ruling that struck down his original tariffs.

Has the Maduro kidnapping broken your brain
like it has mine? I'm 42 years old college educated and I love to read a lot of political articles every week along with watching as many progressives as possible on social media. I always like to analyze everything by every detail bit by bit but I haven't been anxious to do this with the Maduro fiasco. I feel my brain has finally exploded because I just find this situation hard to analyze for me mentally because it really just comes down to us having a dumb crackpot President that decided to jump the shark simply because he needed a super distraction from the Epstein files and his shitty economy.
I love analyzing events politically whether it's good or bad but this situation for me is just tiresome. Does anybody young or old on here feel the same way I do about this situation?
Trump is using his attack on Rob Reiner to distract people again from Epstein and his ACA debacle
. It's very frustrating how people keep falling for the old trick bag when it comes to Trump. It's very predictable whenever he has a failure or is involved in a scandal he will rachet up inflammatory attacks whether it's racism, sexism, xenophobia, or personal attacks like he did on Reiner to get people to stop talking about his screw ups and failures. It's very frustrating to see this play out every single damn time.
I'm not saying what he did to Reiner shouldn't be condemned but I'm saying people need to continue to attack him on his policy failures and Epstein and not ever take the foot off the gas when it comes to this. This is the only way to weaken him. When you respond to his inflammatory attacks he regains strength again.
I mourned Kirk's death
back in 1994 as an 11 year old and this scene was heartbreaking for me. I was a huge fan of both Kirk and Picard and felt like this was a passing of the torch type of moment. I felt we could use some lighthearted humor today.
Young man had promising career as an electrician only to vote for Trump due to his hatred of immigrants
and ended up losing his job because Trump reversed policies Biden had in place that allowed him to have a job.
I found this video very interesting in the sense because it proves what I have said a bunch of times which is the Economy was never the number 1 issue with these MAGA idiots and this young guy really proves it.
The hatred of government workers does show
how cruelty is now normalized in American culture. I have read so many posts and comments on social media whether it's Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc and I'm just amazed at how much hatred people have in their hearts for government workers. There are so many responses that go like this "This is great Michelle deserved to lose her government job nobody should feel sorry for her. I have worked in the private sector my whole entire life, and nobody cared when I got laid off and therefore, I don't care about Michelle, and I hope she experiences the pain I have experienced from my layoff."
The hatred and lack of empathy I see from these people cheering the job loss of these government employees is downright deplorable and sickening. I have worked in the private sector, and I have lost my job 3 times in my life and each time it was a crappy experience that I don't wish on anybody to experience. I have had friends who have gotten laid off in which I had to talk them out of committing suicide because the loss of their job was devastating. This is why I never wish this type of experience on an innocent person, and I can't get any joy out of seeing this happen to innocent people.
I'm not too old at the age of 41 but for the older DUers when did this type of hatred and cruelty towards government workers become the norm in America?
The comments and response to this one woman who lost her USDA job in this video really caught my attention of the cruelty that's being directed towards government workers.
My brother told me about a strip club that ICE raided
that he frequents to and does business with. My younger brother has done business with this strip club for the last few years. This strip club gives him a ton of free passes and in return he gives his business clients these free passes. He told me the other night he went to the strip club that one of the bouncers he knows at the club told him how over 15 ICE agents raided this club and went after these 2 Hispanic strippers that they claimed were illegals. The bouncer also said one of the customers in the club was having a private dance with one of these Hispanic strippers and that ICE busted in the private room to grab the stripper. I bring this up just to show how stupid these ICE raids are.
My brother also voted for Harris and is against Trump. We both laughed at the absurdity and the stupidity of the raid. My brother joked sarcastically and said, "Well you know those Hispanic strippers took away stripper jobs from hard working White American women that deserved those jobs." and we both busted out laughing. These raids are mostly stupid and a waste of taxpayer money.
I did early voting today in NC and
casted my vote for Kamala Harris. The line where I was voting was huge. I was voting in Durham, NC which is a strong blue area. I just wanted to spread some positivity in here while we head into the final days of this election.
