Does everyone always wash behind their ears?

I received a letter that our Social Security is going to be $548 LESS each month!

I wasn't sure which forum was right for this so I've posted it here.

$275 less for me and $273 less for my wife.

A little while ago I received a letter saying my SS will increase due to the cost of living raise.
Now I get this saying that it's going down!
Of course! It's Trump's SS now.

Did anyone else experience this or is specific to my situation?

I think the ICE excessive violence is on purpose.

Trump’s team WANTS a violent uprising. Then he can declare martial law and all restrictions will be gone.

That’s how Hitler did it. He convinced the lawmakers to temporarily give him emergency powers then he never gave them back.
Trump has studied Hitler’s regime. It’s one of the few things he has actively studied. He kept a book of Hitlers speeches next to his bed.

So expect his goons to become more and more violent and repressive until the public explodes. Then Trump can grab the full dictatorship he drools for.

How the hell do people find all the videos for those compilations?

I saw one of dogs bumping into things and another of wind blowing things.
How do you find 50 funny clips of one specific category?
Even with the internet it seems a gargantuan task to find and collate all those clips.
Who does that?

In every movie the faceless opposition soldiers are the bad guys and killed by the dozens...

and everyone cheers when they die. Nobody morns them. Their whole purpose is to die anonymously.
Sure, early in the movie they have power to do lots of dastardly stuff but soon they start dropping and in the end they are all dead and nobody cares.

Don’t the ICE guys know that this is who they are?
Why would anyone sign up for this knowing what’s in store for them?

What happens to the deported immigrants who have to set up life in a foreign country?

This is something I haven’t seen any articles about.
There are the people who only know the US since childhood and only speak English, the ones who escaped horrors in their birth country and now are back and the ones who are dumped in a country that is foreign to them and their heritage.
These are stories I’d like to hear but no one is doing. It’s as if once they are deported their story is over.

The new SCOTUS decision that if a lower court decides an action is unconstitutional, it won't delay implementation of the action nationally. It will only delay it for those named in the lawsuit.

This will allow Trump or a state to do anything that's blatantly unconstitutional and immediately implement it. There is no recourse except for individuals who get a lawyer and sue. It can take years to go through the legal system and finally reach a Supreme Court decision that will apply nationally. All during that time, the unconstitutional action will remain policy and could damage people's rights and lives.

This is the new way that a dictator can toss out the rule of law and do anything he wants.
