Before I sign off for the night,

I just want to thank each and every one of DU's residents for the years of wonderful experiences and support, I know, in the past, I was sometimes, (Ahem) quite rude but I've mellowed out in the last year or so, at least I haven't gotten any posts hidden, if that's a measure of mellowing out, , and thank those of you for the hearts.

Just a quick update:

I'm planning to fully retire this time next year and am turning over the trucking business, which consists of 2 trucks, 2 drivers, an agent and an accountant to my grand daughter who has learned the business inside and out and plans to pilot one of the trucks down the road, it's time for me to enjoy what time I have left on planet earth and let the next generation have at it.

Thank you DU for all the support you've shown in the past years and am looking forward to full retirement.
Love ya all.

On edit: Thank you each and everyone of you for the Hearts, this right here is why this is the only social website I belong to, all others are irrelevant to me.

I've posted this song before by the Chambers Brothers, but I feel the need to post it again,

the first time I heard it was in Vietnam when Adrian Cronauer played it, we were getting ready to head into the bush, waiting on a traffic jam when it came over the radio, our platoon rocked out to it.

About MarineCombatEngineer

I'm an owner/operator long haul truck driver out of Arizona. My truck is a 2018 Peterbilt 389 long nose with the full size sleeper that's loaded with the latest technology. It has the Detroit engine coupled to an Eaton Fuller RTLO 18918B 18 speed transmission. I love the nomadic lifestyle and to top it off, I get paid to see the beauty of this country! Keep on truckin. I am also a U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. (Ret.) MOS 1345, with 35 years of service to our country. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Semper Fidelis.
