The shit I'm reading here on DU about Pres. Biden withdrawing from the race is mind boggling.
Instead of coming together and wholeheartedly supporting our nominee, many are here posting shit from shit sources calling for him to withdraw.
We need to stop this bullshit and come together or we're going to end up with a Been A Dick Donald dictatorship.
I have the utmost confidence that the vast majority of DUer's will vote for Pres. Biden this Nov., but these constant threads from bullshit sources advocating that Pres. Biden withdraw from the race are only helping the repigs, Putin and all the other dictatorships around the world who would love nothing better than to see a Been A Dick Donald dictatorship at the helm.
People, please think about this the next time you want to start a thread about how Pres. Biden should withdraw and how that would affect our country and the world.
Juice Newton live, Queen of Hearts.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=juice+newton+live+2023What a talented, talented singer, musician, songwriter.
She is, IMHO, one of the best female musicians ever.
I've posted this song in the Music section but I wanted to post it here and get your opinon on my thoughts.
By the way Patti Smyth sings this song so passionately makes me wonder if she was a victim of child sexual abuse.
What are your thoughts.
I definitely tear up every time I hear this song.
I've posted this video of The Hooters LIve featuring Patty Smyth before :
And I've got to wonder if she was a victim of sexual abuse by the way she so passionately sings.
I tear up every time I hear this song thinking of what she might've gone through.
What are your thoughts?
How many remember Ricky Medlocke in Blackfoot?
Here's their song I loved the most, Blackfoot Live.
When I got home from my 2nd tour in Vietnam, my younger brother was heavily involved
in the anti war protests, we got into a heated discussion about the morals of the war, he went on and on about US war crimes and at that point I'd had enough of his platitudes and asked him that as a Marine who had served twice in Vietnam if I was the enemy, he came back with the most profound answer I've ever heard, he said, and I quote, "No brother, you're not the enemy, you're a victim".
That threw me and I really had no answer to him, unfortunately, he was killed by a drunk driver in 1980 and I truly miss his wisdom to this day.
Just reflecting on my life here while I await for my agent to line up a load for me.
Everyone, enjoy the rest of the week.
Peace out
Dan.

Glad the police were able to stop this fucking nonsense in its tracks.
I hope those that fought and assaulted the cops are tried, found guilty and sentenced to the max term possible and with a felony on their record, good luck finding work.
They're FA and now they're about to FO.
Don't know if this is where I would post this, but I thought this was awesome!!!!
