Biden Doesn't need to cut direct payments

It makes me feel like I'm not a full citizen of this country when politicians of all strips begin to cut things such as the part of Biden's 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus plan. I really could use even more than the now threatened $1400 direct stimulus check having been fully disabled now for over 10 years.

Biden and the democrats don't need to play nice with their opposites. They are in charge fully and should act and proceed with the stimulus package and increasing the direct payments to $2000 for the next year. But of course I am dreaming...

Football Season

Well, here we are almost August and all levels of football are gearing up to start the season. My question is should there be a football season this fall given COVID-19 virus? I mean, it is not like the virus is going away anytime soon.

I guess they will go ahead and run the experiment. We shall see how many players, coaches, other team members and the officiating crews do as they push forward.

IMHO, there should not be a football season this year.

I am aware that the big three pro sports are either starting up now or will be very soon. We also shall see how their experiments play out.

It does seem like too many have brain freezes and either don't fully understand about this virus, its spread and the lack of immunity or they simply do not care.

The virus isn't going away even with a vaccine. The best we can hope for is that sufficient numbers of humans get a working vaccine and prevent mass infections to continue to spread.

He's Here

The crime family syndicate leader is here in Arizona today to support Sally McShitty for Senate. Sorry, I already voted for our democratic challenger Krysten Sinema as a early voter.

Where is the fair and balanced coverage of this puke for the democrats? The local TV outfits (who do no investigation of their own) plan to show trumps speech tonight even though this turd isn't even on the ballot. Where is the coverage for our side, the democrats? No wonder why our side gets screwed year after year by the media.

When is coverage of a death too much?

I'm just asking the question. Over the top coverage of some well known person can cause problems when what happens is wall to wall 24/7 coverage. I try not to watch news broadcasts and other programming when this happens like now. Seeing so much coverage can had a debilitating effect on those of us who experience depression. Death isn't a good topic to spend any time on.

So, before you flame me for my views please understand that not all of the rest of us share your outrage. Keep it sane.
Love,
John

Privileged Voters?

Why all the vitriol? Why are so many Sanders supporters buying the lies being perpetrated by the right about Clinton?

"Let’s think practically about the election in November."

"How privileged do you need to be to imagine that it’s a good idea to risk the actual lives of vulnerable Americans because you “hate” Clinton?"

"If Donald Drumpf gets elected, how many vulnerable people will be hurt, how many programs cut, how bad will the the economy get under conservative policies? How much damage will be done if Drumpf, an open racist and misogynist, is empowered to command our military, veto bills, and nominate people to the Supreme Court, impacting life in the US for decades to come?"

Read the entire article here: http://qz.com/644985/privilege-is-what-allows-sanders-supporters-to-say-theyll-never-vote-for-clinton/

I voted for Sanders in the Arizona preference primary but I am NOT one who will stay home in November. I will vote for Clinton if she wins the nomination.

Would You Vote For Clinton If She Becomes The Democratic Nominee given...

...Sanders apparently has not caused an increase in voter turnout despite having Yeuuuuge turn outs at his rallies?

According to the reports I saw on The Rachel Maddow show so far turn out in the caucuses and primaries have been lower than previous presidential years.

So, if Sanders does not win the nomination, who would you vote for?

FYI, I am a democrat who will vote for Sanders in the Arizona primary March 22.
