The precinct I worked Tuesday had 60% turnout for early voting. We had 50 voters waiting at 6:00 am and it was steady ALL day. At 8:00 pm we had three people in line so they got to vote. Our commissioner in charge said it was the highest voter turnout ever. So many first time voters (we announce and cheer all first timers which really kept our energy up.). Although it wasn’t the results we wanted, I am glad I was part of this historic election.
Am I the only one?
I love Kamala’s energy, her vision for America, and her wisdom. But there is a part of me mourning that Joe Biden won’t get the opportunity to finish what he started. He did win the primary, he was a strong candidate and everyone loves him . We can only hope that President Harris take the baton from him and uses his lead to extend her lead. Thank you President Biden for all you have done for this country. Please don’t fade away because we still need you!
