The Bushman at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf has died

Always good for a laugh. RIP Bushman, your antics were greatly appreciated by me.

Fisherman’s Wharf tourist icon dies of heart ailment

SAN FRANCISCO —

For 30 years Gregory Jacobs spent his days at Fisherman's Wharf hiding behind branches, often up against a trash can, silently waiting for unsuspecting tourists to come by.

When they did, and when they least expected it, he would push those branches towards them, often giving them a little growl. Almost always, without fail, they would jump scream and run.

It is one of those iconic San Francisco experiences. Few people can forget a run-in with the bushman.

But Jacobs hadn't been in his usual spot lately. He's been in and out the hospital with heart problems. Last Sunday, his family told KTVU, his heart finally gave out and Jacobs passed away.

Officers Who Shot a Homeless Man 11 Times Over a Stolen Cup of Coffee Won’t be Charged

http://iacknowledge.net/officers-who-shot-a-homeless-man-11-times-over-a-stolen-cup-of-coffee-wont-be-charged/

Saginaw, Michigan police officers who shot a man 11 times, and fired a total of 47 bullets, have been given the all clear by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The incident began when officers responded to reports that a man had stolen a cup of coffee from a convenience store. When police arrived they saw that the man, identified as Milton Hall, had a knife. As is far too often the case with the homeless, he also had a history of mental illness. Rather than talk him down, police dropped him with a hail of bullets. The incident was recorded on the cellphones of several stunned witnesses.

Hall’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the nine officers involved in the shooting. The attorney representing the family, Hugh Davis, alleged the officers’ actions “amounted to an execution by firing squad.”

Photos taken at the time of the incident certainly illicit scenes of execution. In a screenshot taken from a police cruisers camera, at least six officers can be seen in a semi-circle all aiming at the man some distance away.

Democrats can't get a viable candidate to run against Eric Cantor. Ever.

Cantor is a complete slime ball why do Democrats run comeplete doofuses (doofi?) election cycle after election cycle?

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/02/sean-hannity-blowup-mike-dickinson-eric-cantor-rival-103976.html

In a heated exchange on his show Tuesday night, Sean Hannity told the Democratic challenger to Rep. Eric Cantor that he’d bet money he loses his House race.

“Good luck to you,” Hannity said in the end to a quarrelsome interview with Mike Dickinson. “You’re gonna lose; I’ll put any amount of money on it, and you’re gonna lose badly.”

I watched the exchange, it was horrible, the guy running as a Democrat against Cantor was just embarassing, I'll give him that he was probably nervous, but that was just ugly. Hannity is acomplete slimeball too, just like Cantor.

Stanley Romanek claims more than 100 encounters with the extraterrestrial

A Loveland man who is well-known in the paranormal community for videos and images that he claims depict alien life appeared in 8th Judicial District Court this week on allegations of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Stanley Romanek, 51, was arrested Feb. 13 on felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child. According to Loveland police, a search warrant of Romanek's home in the 3900 block of Ash Avenue was executed in April 2013 and an arrest warrant was issued last week.

The investigation was initiated last year when the Department of Homeland Security identified the IP address belonging to Romanek as a location where images and movies containing child pornography were being publicly shared, according to an arrest affidavit.

The arrest affidavit also alleges that Loveland police detectives received a similar case from the Department of Homeland Security in a 2009 investigation, where a homeland security agent conducted downloads of child pornography files that were later identified as coming from an IP address listing to Romanek.
