He’s deteriorating a little more each day and he knows it. Every day he feels a little less-well and is beginning to panic. I believe that he has crossed the line of no return and it’s beginning to palpably accelerate. That’s why the rush for the rally, he needs to marshal his troops before he is no longer able to conduct one of these events.

Really. I mean there was this guy Thomas Becket who no one‘s ever heard of, and I made him famous. He’s doing a lot of really good things I hear. At least many people say this. Oh and by the way, who knew that England had nuclear weapons? I mean I heard about their Navy, but no one had any idea they came this far.
OK, I can’t stand it anymore, it’s not even funny. In my wildest dreams I could not imagine that there would be an adult who would speak in this fashion. I have known utter and complete nincompoops, morons, people who despise educated people, people who reject book learning as they call it, people who don’t edit and say anything and everything comes to mind no matter how stupid, racist, or ignorant. But I’ve never heard anyone speak in this fashion. In my career I have treated over 75,000 people in the venues in which I practice, and boy, I thought I seen and heard it all. But never in my life have I witnessed the display of utter idiocy which emanates from the oh-so-weirdly shaped mouth of this miscreant.
As an individual in his late 60s, I witnessed the anti-protester movement, the anti-civil rights movement, the anti-intellectual movement, the anti-choice movement, and of all the people I’ve ever seen interviewed on any issue, I have never witnessed anyone nearly as ill-informed and fundamentally ignorant as this man. It’s positively painful to listen to him, and it makes whoever scripted the Marx brothers films look like a rank amateur.

Those of you who are old enough to remember, the recipe was on the back of the Ritz box. We made one one time as a joke for dessert party, and let me tell you it was the most disgusting thing I have ever made that I’ve eaten.
This whole administration is just repulsive in a visceral way. It’s phony and creepy and disgusting; Everything about it is antithetical to humanity and civilization as it has evolved. 2 c. water
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
35 RITZ Crackers
1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. cinnamon

1 c. crushed RITZ Crackers
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 c. unsalted butter, melted

DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 400ºF.
Make filling: Mix water, granulated sugar and cream of tartar in large saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Add crackers; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
Line 9-inch pie plate with crust as directed on package; fill with cracker mixture. Sprinkle with lemon juice and cinnamon.
Make topping: Combine all topping ingredients.
Bake 10 minutes at 400, reduce to 350 and cover edges of pie crust with foil. Bake 18-20 more minutes, or until pie filling has set. It shouldn't jiggle a lot when moved. Cool before serving.

OK, you’re no longer on earth. You’re in the spaceship and it’s going to the planet Mars. It’s going to take you 18 months to get there. Now you know the space is a vacuum and you know you need to don your space suit to go out with oxygen and a tether so you don’t go flying away from your rocketship.
But you’re in there for seven months, and it’s the same four walls, the same company, the same food, same stupid stuff on theTelevision monitor, and you know what? It’s a giant pain in the ass to put on that spacesuit, it takes over half an hour and then 15 minutes to take it off. Why bother?
So just go outside. What do you have to lose?
That’s what these people are doing with this virus. The conditions are the same and will always be the same. It’s only the psyche that changes.

The Playboy interview of the Nazi George Lincoln Rockwell as interviewed by none other than Alex Haley. It is a remarkable moment in American publishing back in the mid-60s, and the initial part of the interview where in Haley notes that there is a gun on the table between Rockwell and him is A real statement of where things were and, as far as I’m concerned, still are in many sectors of this country.
As a young man, I had no idea the virulence of the racism and anti-Semitism which could arise in this country until I read this interview. I believe it should be required reading in schools.

I had an epiphany this morning
I realized that my entry into politics was reading Jules Pfeiffer’s comic on Sundays in the Philadelphia Sunday Bulletin. Interestingly, it was not in the comic section but in the Sunday magazine which I believe was called This Week.
Doing some research, I found that he still alive, 91 years old! For those here who had not seen his work, his material was brilliant and I would dare say that he influenced Trudeau in his creation of Doonesbury. Pfeiffer’s art however was much more primitive, and his outlook was somewhat different. He was also regarded as an intellectual, which at that time was not yet considered a denigrating term. He would appear on various interview shows and discuss his mature, progressive, altruistic point of view.
I urge any of you who are interested in satire and comics to find some of his work and take a look. You will not be disappointed.
I'm going to tell you something this Saturday night,
As many of you know, I’m a dentist. And of all professions, we were at the beginning of this epidemic rated the most at risk of anyone in the United States of America who works for a living. Most of us followed the dicta of our state government and virtually all of us return to work as soon as we were permitted in whatever capacity we were allowed.
I’m going to tell you quite frankly that we have our own closed group websites as you can well imagine, and there is no shortage of Trump followers there. There are many Dentists and staff who still believe that this is all a hoax, that we never should’ve been shut down, that people have overreacted grossly to the situation. And like many Trump followers, they absolutely will not listen to one shred of reason at all whatsoever. It is incredibly upsetting to read healthcare Professionals post posts which are antithetical to healthcare. These people are exactly like the people you read on the former Discussionist website or a Yahoo or The shithead site that shall not be named Here. They have that same sanctimonious, creepy, might is right, close minded stupidity the permeates the Trump body politic. They don’t listen to reason, they don’t care about anyone’s plight , they are narrow and nasty revolting individuals.
Repulsive.
