Stuart G's JournalHow Police Caught A Cop Who Allegedly Abused 8 Black Women..Buzzfeed from Huff Post
http://www.buzzfeed.com/jtes/daniel-holtzclaw-alleged-sexual-assault-oklahoma-cityOKLAHOMA CITY Daniel Holtzclaw made a mistake, an Oklahoma County prosecutor argued on Wednesday: He messed up.
Holtzclaws mistake was pulling over the wrong person: A woman who, when he allegedly assaulted her, wouldnt hesitate to call the police.
It happened around 2 a.m. on June 18, when Holtzclaw, a 27-year-old police officer, was ending his shift on the northeast side of Oklahoma City. He switched off his patrol car computer. Then, without calling for assistance or otherwise notifying his station, police said, Holtzclaw made a traffic stop.
The woman identified in court documents as J.L. and in local media reports as a 57-year-old grandmother said she was driving home after playing dominos with a friend, according to detective Kim Davis, who recounted J.L.s story at length during a hearing at the Oklahoma County Courthouse

This is pretty ugly, and it fairly long.. This story goes at length as to how Oklahoma City police caught this man. While this event has been up before, this describes the lengthy process that went into the arrest. There is a whole lot of evidence that the story describes. It is quite descriptive and ugly. But the evidence is strong as it is presented here. You decide..

Strange and Easy Way to Get Exercize..Very simple.
Strange Way to get Exercise ....It is very simple..
Put the phone in a room away from the computer
When the phone rings, you got to get up and walk some distance to get the phone. Say 15 or 20 feet. So my phone which was next to the computer, broke down about a year and a half ago. So, I said to me, why don't you wait a while to get the newest and most advanced phone.. So, I need to go to a "phone store" with lots of them.
In the meanwhile, the phone rings, and I got to get up from the chair and walk and pick it up, cause it is ringing. The other phone is in another room.. about 20 feet away...So.. Since March of 2013, I estimate that I have gotten up from the computer, and walked to the phone, about 2000 times. Sometimes I sit and talk, then get up and go back to the computer... Getting up from the computer a few times a day ain't a bad idea. Never did get another phone...Hell...at least it is a simple idea.!!!
Charlie Crist Delivers Perfect Response to Rick Scott on Climate Change

Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist on Friday delivered the perfect response to Republicans who claim they lack the scientific background to express an opinion as to whether man-made climate change is real.
Im not a scientist either, but I can use my brain, and I can talk to one, Crist said Friday at a Florida State University presentation on greenhouse gases and rising sea levels, according to SaintPetersBlog.
The claim is a common refrain in the Republican Party. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) explained in 2012 that, while he "wasn't a scientist, man," he believed the age of Earth was "one of the great mysteries." House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) similarly said earlier this year that he was "not qualified to debate the science over climate change." And Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) also used the line when asked whether he was worried that rising sea levels posed a threat to his coastal home.
President Barack Obama made hay out of the line in June, slamming politicians who use it for failing to curb the harmful effects of carbon emissions.
"I'm not a scientist either, but we've got some good ones at NASA," he added.

13 Words that Will Win the November 2014 Election for Democrats
The Republican Dominated Supreme Court Says NO to YOUR Birth Control - Vote Democratic.that is it, that is all. Why?
First, and most important, those words are the truth
Second, it are simple and clear
Third, it is a short single sentence
Fourth, easy to remember
Fifth, easy to reproduce this saying. (you could write it on 3 x 5 notecards and pass those out)
Sixth, easy to use as an attack ad.
Seventh. all concerned people know it is the truth
Eight, the word "dominate" explains how Republicans really want to tell all of us what to do with Birth Control
pass it on,
repeat it
talk about it
say it again
tell everyone
ask them to make commercials using it.
This hopefully, will get through the muck and confusion.
If it does, I think we will win, no matter what the other side says.
Debt Collection Factory Preyed on Broke Americans: Lawsuit.(Consumer Financial Protection Bureau)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/15/debt-collection-agency-lawsuit_n_5585264.html?ir=BusinessA federal watchdog is suing a collection agency that allegedly operated like a "factory" churning out lawsuits against cash-strapped borrowers, often using misleading, deceptive and illegal practices.
The suit is the latest effort by regulators to crack down on debt collection abuse. The billion-dollar industry has ballooned in size over the past two decades and is under fire for filing wrongful lawsuits against vulnerable borrowers.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) announced on Monday that it had sued Frederick J. Hanna & Associates, a Georgia-based law firm that sues consumers for old, outstanding debts owed to banks, debt buyers and credit card companies.
The complaint against Hanna & Associates alleges that the firm operated as a lawsuit "factory," cranking out more than 350,000 suits in Georgia alone since 2009. What's more, the company operates with a skeleton staff of eight to 16 lawyers who merely put their signature on lawsuits, while the bulk of the work at the firm is performed by "automated processes" and non-attorney staff, according to the CFPB complaint. In 2009 and 2010, the suit claims, a single lawyer at the company signed off on about 138,000 lawsuits, an average of about 1,300 a week.

Texas Judge Pleads for Leniency, "You Are Going To Ruin My Life"
Huff Post:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/16/nora-longoria-texas-judge-ruin-life_n_5590938.html?utm_hp_ref=crime
A Texas judge pleaded with police for leniency after admitting to DWI over the weekend.
CBS News reports that Nora Longoria, justice for the 13th Court of Appeals, was arrested early Saturday after police in McAllen, Texas, pulled her over for doing 69 in a 55 mph zone.
According to court documents obtained by the Valley Star, the judge, who later refused a breathalyzer, pleaded with officers for leniency. Please let me go home. I live a couple of miles away," Longoria said. "You are going to ruin my life. I worked hard for 25 years to be where I am today."
The 49-year-old judge said she had drunk five beers during dinner with friends and that the last beer had been consumed about three hours before she got behind the wheel of her Lexus, according to the newspaper.
Longoria initially refused to wear handcuffs but capitulated after an officer said that if she didn't, he'd charge her with resisting arrest.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated and was released after posting $2,000 bail

This GOP Mayor Marching 273 Miles to Demand Medicaid Expansion
Source: Think Progress
By Tara Culp-Ressler, July 15, 2014 at 9:11 am Updated: July 15, 2014 at 10:03 am
Adam ONeal, the Republican mayor of a small North Carolina town named Belhaven, is currently on a nearly 300 mile journey to the nations capital to raise awareness for a cause thats rather unpopular within his own party. This week, the mayor started walking to Washington, DC on foot, hoping to bring more attention to the human consequences of rejecting Obamacares optional Medicaid expansion.
Since North Carolina hasnt yet agreed to expand Medicaid, the hospital serving ONeals rural constituency was recently forced to close. Vidant Pungo Hospital, which used to care for a disproportionately large population of low-income and uninsured patients, can no longer afford to remain operating in Belhaven. If the state had expanded Medicaid, however, things may have turned out differently. Vidant Pungo would have received an influx of newly insured patients; like the hospitals located in states that accepted Obamacares expansion, Vidants profit margins probably would have improved.
Now, Belhavens residents have to travel nearly an hour to get to the closest hospital, something that has created what ONeal calls a medical desert. So hes marching 273 miles to Washington to find a solution.
Our states refusal to accept expansion is taking two billion dollars a year out of our states healthcare system, the mayor wrote in an op-ed to explain why hes making the trek over the next two weeks. Americans need to realize the rural healthcare struggles across our country. In the last year, more rural hospitals have closed than in the previous 15 years. Every hospital closure means deaths!!!

Mayor O'Neal has courage and sensitivity to publicize this. Sensitivity, ..something almost totally lacking in the current Republican Party.
This story should be read by everyone in this country. This is truly a tragedy, and the Republicans should be exposed for their causing death in so many states.
