DemocracyWins's JournalSo Republicans mainly got what they wanted in the BIF
They killed the 3.5 billion dollar deal that would been the most progressive piece of legislation since the New Deal. Sinema needs to be primaried in 2024.
I think Biden will accept the bi partisan compromise
Listen its not to everyones liking but its a deal that can be passed and it will be a political boon for Biden. They will be two bills passed one through reconciliation and the other through the regular procedure. I predict the one going through reconciliation is going to be what progressives want.
According to MSM we are suppose to reach out to Republicans
I just heard Republicans callers on cspan ginning up the Hunter Biden conspiracies and how Biden is senile. How are we to reason with these people when they believe these crazy conspiracy theories.
I feel like these are real crisis
And not just made up faux outrage. Especially the gas shortages if this is not sorted out by the end of the week this could upend the good faith Biden Administration have been getting in the polls. The Israel and Gaza conflict could inflict another war in the Middle East. Lets not ignore these because Republicans have a louder megaphone.
Dave Wasserman thinks the GOP can win the governor race in VA
If I were Dems in VA I wouldn't sleep on this race. President Obama won Virigina by 6 in 2008 and Bob Mcdonnell the governor race won virigina the next year by 17 points, so lets not take this race for granted DNC.

I remember when Andrew Yang was favored to win the NY Mayoral race
now it might look like Eric Adams will give him a run for his money and might out right win. What happened here? It seems I thought Yang was trying to veer left but seems to have taken moderate positions.
Seriously are we going to run Charlie Crist in the Flordia Governor race
I get we have a very slim chance of taking the Flordia governorship in 2022 but Charlie Crist I would argue we would lose worse with him. We lost to Rick Scott with him. He was a republican not that long ago and an independent. I think we have a much better chance with Nikki Fried or Val Demings in my opinon.
What's going in texas 6th district special election?
Looks like Sanchez is in a distant 3rd place, with Ellzey and Wright being in a 1 and 2nd place. Not feeling good about this.

Is Flordia, Ohio, and Iowa lost of us now?
Looking at the results in 2020 we lost Flordia more then we did in 2016. Ohio and Iowa we lost around the same amount. Do we have a good stragety to take these states back or is this lost to us premantly and we should move on to other states? Will Obama be the last Democratic President to win state wide in all three.
