Prominent Democrats had privately pushed for Biden to withdraw from the race in the weeks leading up to his decision, citing his age and low approval ratings as potential stumbling blocks in his rematch against Trump.
Since then, Democratic fortunes have rebounded. Running in Biden’s stead, Harris has reversed the gap in national polls. Democratic enthusiasm is also on the rise, with the campaign reporting a staggering $310 million fundraising haul in July’s final weeks — more than double the figure posted by the Trump campaign.

The biggest “beefs” are around his 30 year old DUI (lol), his handling of Covid (oh noes, he agreed with common sense measures like the initial lockdowns and masks!), and the George Floyd riots which he supposedly intervened in too late (by calling in the national guard). So, lots of crap that’s thinner than Mango Mussolini’s skin and hair, and it’s just so delicious to watch them grasp at straws.

Recurring payment inadvertently selected - how to cancel?
I paid for my star membership with PayPal and - apparently - inadvertently selected recurring vs one time payment. Since I was not logged into my PayPal account I cannot cancel it there as the DU account page advises and PayPal directs me to DU to cancel. Any suggestions?
