Fraud-believing GOP voters could help McAuliffe on Tuesday

Donald Trump has said several times that his followers should not vote because the elections are rigged something.

I don't know how many Republicans will follow that advice, but their cult leader has spoken. Most Republicans will show up to vote,. But the question is, how many will stay home because of the false belief that voting machines flip votes, or mystery trucks still votes etc.
I have confidence in that enough stupid Republicans exist to boycott themselves.

If McAuliffe wins VA Gov, right wingers will say he stole it

It's uncertain who will win, but if McAuliffe pulls it off, right wingers will say that he stole the election.
If the victory is by 5 it more, expect attempts to repeat January 6 at a state level, targeting governmental buildings. They will claim that polls had.them tied, and polls are awesome this time around, or any similar twisted logic.

"In every election but one since Jimmy Carter, the President's party has lost the VA Governor race"

See, in order to get revenue-attracting clicks, pundits and journalists are not supposed to tell you this.
Why is the incumbent n trouble in Virginia? Because he always is! When the President is in his party, that is.
This context doesn't lend itself to clickbait, because it gets in the way of 'the sky in falling" punditry.

And you cannot pretend Virginia is a "national barometer" if your readers realize that the state has a unique characteristic.

Maricopa County prosecutors consider charges against Sinema protesters

Source: KTAR News

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said it is reviewing recommended charges submitted against activists who confronted U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in a bathroom two weeks ago.

Police for Arizona State University said Wednesday their investigation involving four students at the downtown Phoenix campus was complete and had been forwarded to prosecutors.

Sinema had just left a classroom Oct. 3 when protesters tried to get her to talk to them about immigration and her opposition to the cost of a proposed spending plan loaded with Democratic priorities.

Living United for Change in Arizona posted video of the students following Sinema down a hallway and into the restroom. The four told the Democrat she hadn’t followed up on promises she made during her campaign.

Trafalgar was the worst pollster of the California recall vote. Now it's pretending VA Gov is a tie

Newsom won by 24% while Trafalgar had him up by only 8%.
That's an abysmal 16% error on the margin.
Yet, this Trumper pollster still has the nerve of pretending that things are tied in Virginia.

Sinema rakes in Pharma and finance cash amid reconciliation negotiations

Source: Politico

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) raised more campaign money in the last three months than in any quarter since she became a senator. And she hit that $1.1 million haul with a big assist from the pharmaceutical and financial industries, whose political action committees and top executives stuffed her coffers in the middle of negotiations on Democrats’ massive infrastructure and social spending bills.

Sinema has emerged as a key player in those negotiations, with the reconciliation bill needing support from all 50 Democratic senators. But Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) have made it clear they will not support the original $3.5 trillion price tag for the bill, and Sinema has also objected to including far-reaching prescription drug pricing proposals, certain proposed tax increases and other party priorities.

As those objections have been registered, Sinema’s Senate campaign has cashed checks from industries facing potential losses or other disruptions. She received $27,800 from PACs of pharmaceutical companies from July through September — up from $5,000 in the three months prior, according to her campaign finance filings.

Sinema’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Mcauliffe's lead, if California poll accuracy is replicated

In the Newsom recalll, the Keep option was up by 16%.
Newsom won it by 24%.
If poll inaccuracy and headline-grabbing, retweet-inducing Republican bias has continued . this is very good news for Mcauliffe.

GOP rallies around Manchin, Sinema

Source: The Hill

hRepublicans are rallying around Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), the centrists who are in a fierce battle with progressives in their party.

Senate Republicans, despite having many policy differences with Manchin and Sinema, are singing their praises, knowing that they will be key to stopping or slowing President Biden’s ambitious agenda.

Both Democrats would be top Republican targets in 2024 if they decide to run for reelection, and GOP leaders are usually loath to offer praise to such lawmakers.

But in a 50-50 Senate, where Manchin and Sinema can make or break Biden’s policy goals, many Republicans hail them as saviors.

As Budget Bill Hangs in Limbo, Kyrsten Sinema Heads to Europe

Source: New York Times

Senator Kyrsten Sinema, the moderate Arizona Democrat who has objected to the size and scope of President Biden’s sweeping legislative agenda, has been trailed all over the country by progressive activists seeking to pressure her. They have followed her into a bathroom in Arizona, on an airplane and even to the Boston Marathon.

But this week, with the Senate out of session, those activists would have had to travel even farther to press their case with Ms. Sinema in person — she’s in Europe on a fund-raising trip.

A spokesman for Ms. Sinema said she had participated in fund-raising for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee but declined to say where or provide any additional details. One person briefed on the matter said an event had occurred in Paris. It was not clear whether her trip to Europe was at the urging of the party committee.

The chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, Senator Gary Peters of Michigan, is also in Europe this week and headlined a dinner on Wednesday in London, with contribution levels as much as $36,500, according to a copy of an invitation. Ms. Sinema’s name does not appear on that invitation.

Trump tells Republicans they should not vote in 2022 or 2024 without answers to 2020 'fraud'

Source: The Week

Well...alright then.

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday issued a statement claiming "Republicans will not be voting in [2022] or [2024]" unless the "thoroughly and conclusively documented" presidential "election fraud of 2020" is investigated. He then goes on to call abstaining from voting "the single most important thing for Republicans to do." Quite the interesting call to action for a man reportedly readying his own 2024 https://twitter.com/sahilkapur/status/1448386456406347786

I'm a Democrat but every once in awhile I' agree with the other side. This is one of those times.
Listen to Trump, Republicans. This is great advice.
