I never knew my best friend of 40+ years was a covert Narcissist

My best friend, my business Partner. My Brother from another Mother. Has no feelings,concern,loyalty whatsoever to me.
If we were on a boat with a gun and 12 hours worth of water, he would shoot me to have 24 hours worth.
I never knew or understood what a covert Narcissist was and how pathologically evil they are.
They don't have conversations, they prod for things to use against you for control.
You told your best bud a secret 20 years ago, they remember and weaponize it.
They trust no one.
I spent a few hundred hours watching you tube videos about these monsters and they are all alike. Its like there is a Dickhead playbook they all use.
I want anyone reading this to ask themselves if they know a person like this:
1) who Trust no one
2) chronic complainer
3) delusions of unobtainable grandeur
4) Love to argue over nothing.
5) can't take criticism
6) scream when they hear the word no?
7) seem to enjoy frustrating/angering you
8) Sometimes you see them smile when you have a bad day.
9) cheat a lot/Drink
10) buy you gifts
11) seem to lack empathy
12) don't really have any hobbies that aint yours.
13) they hold grudges forever
There are many more
Do you feel frustrated, drained, icky after talking to someone?
You may have a covert Narcissist in your midst.
They are like Poison snakes that look like nonpoisonous snakes.
They will take everything they can and manipulate and lie to you.
I never knew about these monsters.
And they are.

I remember Dilberts creator on Bill Maher a few years ago describing how Trumps test his insult Is it "Crooked Hillary" , Or "Crazy Hillary" and live test the Message like a comedian honing his act. He used humor to hook and repetition to train.
I had this thought this morning and it made a little sense to me.

So I've been watching Mark Halpirins Two Way zooms for several weeks

They try to push the mantra of "Peace,Love,and Understanding"
It is frequented by such thinkers as Newt Gingrich,Sean Spicer,Megan McCain.. and a few Token Democrats.
It is gaslighting of the highest order. Every episode is a harsh criticism of Harris and Walz, and a passing critique of Trump if a zoom caller brings it up. Critiquing Trump is always a few episodes away. 80 to 90 percent of the zoomers are MAGA.
Every episode it gets more MAGA as the zoom rips into Harris with only 2 or 3 Dem Zoomers who actually bring a bit of truth.
They all are being led to believe that Trump is surging and is certain to win.
And less and less Harris voters are showing up to the zoom. They arent converting, they just notice the gaslighting.
Halpirin pushes this sentiment on his zoom that Harris is in trouble, but the other day I watched him on another smaller zoom with a guy who had few subscribers, and when asked who He thought would win, He said . Wait for it. Harris 55/45.
When the guy asked him if the economy was the main concern,he said Trump would win.
None of this means anything except that They truly believe in Trump world that they are winning.
When they lose. They are going to go nuts and believe anything Trump wants them to believe.
I don't why I even posted this, I'm just sort of pissed off.
I also don't believe for a second that Trump is going to win.
I guess this is a reminder to NOT believe the words of disingenuous people.

Watching the Traitors Rally and I noticed a few things already

First, its not full. Many empty seats, chronic gaslighting, and they've added a country music guy as entertainment who came out twice so far. The speakers seem to all be speaking in more of a crowd (Attempting to excite) exciting way.
The crowd is mostly stagnant and remaining seated so far.
I get the impression that they are trying to get some of that Kamala crowd excitement,but it just seems quite cringe worthy in their reaching. EVERYTHING is bad and it was mean of us to swap candidates.
The side youtube chat window is full of the most childish racist Kamala and Walz post as one could imagine.

Angus the misdiagnosed Cancer Kitty Update.

First off, thank you all for the Previous love. I couldn't believe how many recs it got.

Okay, I take Angus to my regular vet Monday.
The vet mentioned that when she saw him last the fluid and inflammation was so bad that she couldn't hear his heart.
She could easily this time (Easier if he wasn't growling at her).
He gained his weight back 18.5 lbs He is a big boy.
I told her my saga and the Medications the cat was on and she mentioned that you aren't supposed to give cats with Fungal or Viral Infections Predisnolone as it ramps up the infection.
Holy Hell!
I googled it when I got home.
"Prednisone/prednisolone should not be used in pets that are allergic to it, or with systemic fungal infections (unless it is used to treat Addison's disease), viral infections, ulcers, tuberculosis, or Cushing's disease"

But Predisnolone is what you would give a Cancer kitty. The Person who read the CAT scan diagnosed it as lung cancer.

So, with this bit of knowledge I thought back to the 3-4 weeks he spent sleeping in the Air chamber house I made him with piped in oxygen via an air concentrator, It has a door he can easily enter and leave at will. So I could tell how he was feeling by the time he spent in it.
And thought that Maybe the Steroids were killing him during that time,
and the Anti Fungal I was Giving him possibly fought back a raging infection from the steroids and saved him?
If that has any bases in reality then my asking the Emergency Vet two months ago about the Medicine to treat a possible Fungal Infection that she mentioned since he is dying anyway that he would probably be dead by now.
( All assumption and theory)
Also, one of the side effects of Predisnolone in cats is panting/rapid breathing.
So when his breath was in the high 30 range it may have been a mixture of the infection and the Steroids doing it and it returned to a normal range after his steroids wore off that made it seem miraculous.
Angus never seemed to have any cancer symptoms besides the Plural Effusion breathing thing.They never found a cancer cell, His wounds healed,no wasting away,no blood in his stool that I saw ,no lumps. So I have a hard time believing he ever had Cancer.
I am going to pay close attention to him for the next few months and make sure nothing weird is up.
He has almost certainly some lung damage from all of this, but he did feel well enough to paw me in the face to get me up at 4:30 this morning, annoying lil @$$hole whom I apparently love dearly.

Two months ago my cat was given a diagnosis of lung Cancer and given two months to live.. My cat didn't get the MEMO.

April 17 I take my Kitty Angus into the vet due to labored breathing.
My vet suggested I take him to the Emergency vet.
My cat had fluid building up around his lungs and had to be drained.
They poked , prodded,scanned, CAT Scanned which was very expensive to finally to tell me that
My cat had Cancer and two months to live.
One lung was black and the other had black fingery sections crawling up it.
The vet said it looked Weird. She has never seen a pattern like that. Threw out the possibility of a Fungal Infection.
But the evaluation from the cat scan led to the call of Cancer.
Test for Fungal infection came back Negative(Which is common for those test apparently), but they could never show me a confirmed cell, just appearance and symptoms of cancer.
Angus was breathing at over 38 breaths a minute,His nostrils would move as he was breathing and you could tell he was having a hard time.
I took him home and found a Respirator, and made him a little house he could sleep in and breathe easier in.
I then asked my vet if treating him for a fungal infection with him dying of cancer would cause him any discomfort.
Turns out that cats handle the medicine well and she prescribed a leap of faith treatment of Fluconosone.
The funny thing about this type of medicine and treatment is that you can treat it for weeks without seeing and monumental results.
But I kept treating him twice a day.
He was placed on Predisonolone (Spelling), and fluconosone as well as Rutin for his Plural effusion (liquid around lungs).
After 2 weeks on the medicine he started improving in tiny ways. I took him to the vet for a lung draining and was telling her (A different vet) how great he has been doing, and she attributed it all to the steroids and sort of belittled my observations.
So much that I believed her diagnosis over my observations/ lying eyes and she thought I was wasting my time with the anti fungal .
I decided that I'm going to finish his regiment anyways.
When I took him in last, he was breathing rough and rapidly, Around 36 to 40 breaths a minute.
Two days ago I'm watching him sleep and decided to do a breath count. I counted 24 breaths a minute! 20 to 28 is in the normal breathing zone for a sleeping cat.
HOW THE HELL IS THIS POSSIBLE????
Cancer cats don't get better. They get worse, the stop eating, they fade.
He not only is breathing normally, he's more active, less picky, playing, and he is sleeping next to me again.
I went from preparing to Hospice him off to a cat that seems to be on the mend.

Good things don't happen.
They just don't!
But I cried in sadness for weeks and Just now I'm dropping a few tear of joy.
I'll take this second chance, this gift.

So my Kitty has 2 months to live, I made him an oxygenated kitty house,bought my 2nd bad air concentrator. People suck

So my kitty was breathing funny, so I took him to the vet, about 5,000 bucks later I find that he has either Lung cancer and is breathing @ 50% capacity OR a slim chance it could be a fungal infection. I'm treating him for a fungal infection Just in case.
Anyways, I bought a used one off of Marketplace for 150$ , it barely works and emits a loud buzzer sound, I duck taped the buzzer and have it in my basement. It is unreliable and I tried repairing it. So I decided I'll buy a better one. Saw another one on Marketplace ,the guy said it was new and wanted 300$ for it. I met him at a Taco bell, paid him 300 bucks, got the Machine home, Plugged it in, and got a low oxygen level warning. I changed the filter and tried to open it to replace the inside filter and see if I can find out whats wrong with it. But, it has proprietary screws in it in very deep holes that I cant remove.
I'm going to run it to my shop later and drill out the screws so I can open it.
So now I have 500$ in useless Oxygen Concentrators both sold by assholes on Marketplace and my poor cat gets to suffer for it.
New ones are outrageously priced and you need a prescription to buy them.
So now I get to search high and low for a third used one and hope I get lucky.
He is a good boy and I cried when I got the news about him. I just want his long goodbye to be as comfortable as i can make it for him

I have a question about the best free software to use in putting together a family tree book

I have tons of pictures, articles,stories that I would like to condense into a family tree book
I just would like something easy to drag and drop into,add text, number, and turn into a file that I can have a book made from for my relatives.
Thank you
