A Trump impersonator, with a manneqin over his shoulder, interrupts CPAC gathering.

<snip>
About ten minutes into Pence's remarks, a Trump-like protester with a ripped-stocking mannequin casually slung over his shoulder stood up near the front of the audience and began yelling about Trump's “white supremacy.” As security rounded him up and escorted him out, the zealous crowd of faithful broke into go-to, raucous chants of "USA!" "USA!" - but extremely non-partisan ones, so everything's all right.

I still believe that the origin of this threat against our democracy is Trump's debt to oligarchs.

Just as Eric Trump once said, they get all the financing they need from the Russians.

In my opinion, when Trump could no longer borrow from American banks, he went to Russia, and later to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, to keep his brand afloat. In the process, he became one of the largest money-launderers in the world.

This was the information that he had to keep from the American people. That is why he could not show his tax returns or the details of his financial statements. He was living in a palace of debt.

All the conspiracy theories, all the investigations, all the crimes committed, were all part of the cover-up of the criminal activities of Donald J Trump.

In my opinion, his business empire would collapse without the input of money from oligarchs around the world, most of it in the laundromat.

That is also the reason that he grovels to Vladimir Putin. Putin controls him. I still believe that. People keep secrets when they have something to hide. Donald Trump has a lot of secrets.

Trump covets the presidency more than anything in the world.

It is the power trip that feeds his ego.

He cares more about clinging to power than he does about the welfare of the people or the health of the world. His "gut" is superior to science. And his gut tells him that some "miracle" will end this virus.

He sends his Chief of Staff out to tell his followers to ignore the news coming from their televisions. They are only trying to steal the presidency from him.

The presidency is like the ring to Gollum. "My precious!"

Mulvaney tells people to turn off their TVs because the media are trying to bring down Trump.

People should only listen to the news that comes out of the White House, via Twitter and Facebook, in order to not fall for the hoax called "coronavirus". That seems to be their message?

Mick Mulvaney Goes Nuts at CPAC and Accuses Media of Hyping Coronavirus to Bring Down Trump: ‘That’s What It’s All About’

<snip>

White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told the audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday that the media is only covering the spread of coronavirus because it’s out to get President Donald Trump.

According to the New York Times’ Annie Karni, Mulvaney accused the American media of using coronavirus as a political weapon, despite the fact that concerns about the virus led Japan to shut down its schools for at least a month.

“They think this will bring down the president,” Mulvaney said. “That’s what it’s all about.”

He then downplayed the health risks to Americans who contract the virus by arguing that the virus won’t kill everyone who contracts it.

“It’s not a death sentence,” he said. “It’s not the same as the Ebola crisis.”

Would it be a good idea to end the FISA Court process?

That may be under discussion between Trump and the Justice Department of AG Barr?

If it is repealed, would the House of Representatives have to approve? Or could it be done by the Justice Department?

Of course, Trump is very angry at the FISA Courts and he wants everyone to know. He was investigated as a subject in the Russia investigation and he wants it ended. Because he was innocent, just as the Mueller Report said. No one really believes he had anything to do with Russia. No real estate deals. No loans. No money laundering. Nothing. Clean as a whistle. Yeah! That's the ticket.

So when the FISA is ended, there will be no need to go thru a Court to get warrants. They can be issued from the White House. Will that be preferable?

Why did Barr meet with the Republican caucus?

Has no one leaked any information about it yet?

Why would he feel the need to meet with the entire caucus? That is strange.

Does he think he is about ready to be fired?

Does he have information that only Republicans need to know?

His secrecy tends to create conspiracy theories. What the hell is going on?

Why is Trump still so obsessed about the Russia investigation? One would think he would be willing to let it die? Now we hear that he is suing the NY times.

There are things going on that you don't know.

Trump's deception and confusion about our jury process and our courts is intentional.

And it is very dangerous.

He wants people to believe that if there is a Supreme Court Justice that might disagree with him, then they should recuse themselves from any case that may involve him. As if nothing can be adjudicated unless it is in his favor. Otherwise, it is biased and unfair.

In my opinion, he does it to confuse people and to deceive them in ways that run counter to the justice system we have had for over 200 years. No one can get unanimous agreement all of the time. That includes Donald Trump.

Also, he has been attacking our jury system in a similar manner. The Judge that ruled against Roger Stone had to be biased against Donald Trump to make such a decision. She was biased and unfair. Just as the jury forewoman was guilty of bias because she may have voted for someone other than Donald Trump in an election. As if no one is capable of looking at the evidence and coming to a decision independent of their political beliefs.

It is meant to confuse and disrupt our justice system. His intent is to deceive people into believing that unless everyone on a jury, or even the Supreme Court, voted for and supports Donald Trump, then it is not legitimate.

That is a dangerous position to tolerate.
