So it seems like there is very little reporting on the potential shutdown. I did read the latest bill was pulled by the GOP. These GOP clowns can't find their asses with both their hands, so that does not instill confidence. Tempering my thoughts, a shutdown would be bad for an assortment of reasons and any sane reasonable politicians would extend the budget to avoid the dramatic consequences. I'm just not so sure they wouldn't do it out of spite or meanness.

Is not a defense, and should not be presented as such in news articles. They make it sound like if he got it right and identified the person in the picture correctly, the Judge would say, "well OK you find her unattractive, I have to let you go". Its starting to bug me.

About the potential indictment of the clown
According to the NY Times the Most likely charge with regards to the Stormy affair is bookkeeping fraud under article 175 of the NY Penal Code!? Really, thats it?

I get that this is the first step of a string of indictments, but as the saying goes if you shoot at the king don't miss, well this seems like kind of a weak shot.
What if McCarthy is a snitch?
The list of congress critters that voted against him contains several insurrectionists and criminals. If he has been cooperating with the DOJ or J6, the lawyers for the criminals would probably know that and have informed their client. So maybe they are blocking him to protect themselves?

I checked twitter today and noticed the same thing. Personally I think the news agencies have been warned he will be indicted shortly and are backing off. Thoughts?

The former dipshit in chief left handwritten notes on the some of the sensitive documents that were retrieved. That is very interesting and incriminating me thinks.
Lets say Rudy takes the 5th
If he takes the 5th on every or most questions hows the prosecutor make their case? Is the Jury informed on how to consider that type of testimony. Or is their no Jury on this hearing only a Judge?
