My father would sit at the kitchen table and stew endlessly about grievances he thought were done to him. His big one was us kids taking the ammunition for his guns. We were afraid he would shoot somebody, even us. Trump reminds me of this. He has no interest in doing the job of President, he just wants to endlessly claim he won the election. So he is fighting for a job he does not want. He wants to go over the election again and again. He has seemed mentally ill to me since day one.
Sanders / Warren ticket
It is time to go for it. I hope Sanders can get Warren as VP. Have her eat Pence's lunch. Meanwhile, have Bernie roast Trump 24/7. Give people a clear choice. It's either Trump / Pence corruption or Sanders / Warren as the clean up crew. Pence will give his "aw shucks, I'm from Indiana and I support the orange turd" routine. We need Warren to make him eat that turd.
Shockingly, Rush Limbaugh is worse
As usual during lunch I turn him on to see what his latest mental disturbance is about. Today he was in rare form, saying Roger Stone and Manafort were innocent. Oh, and Trump too. It is all a deep state conspiracy to undue the 2016 election. So there you have it. Rush is looking death right in the eye and saying he is going down spreading propaganda for the orange anus. Sad. I wasn't expecting a death bed conversion or anything but having that cancer diagnosis would make most people think and reflect. Not Rush. He's as big a douchebag as Trump.
Limbaugh still at it
I tune in Limbaugh every once in awhile, and today he was back on the air and still hawking garbage to his listeners. He never gives up. But Rush won't have a brinks truck following him to the graveyard when he takes his dirt nap. Forget about any deathbed conversions either. He will sink into the deep sleep thinking he was the greatest person ever. Next to Trump, of course.
I'm coming around to Bloomberg
Trump is getting worse, and another 4 years seems impossible to comprehend. But he will win again unless the Democrats can run somebody that can beat him.
Biden - sorry, he was ok as VP but he is a gaffe machine and looks like he just woke up from the crypt. No.
Warren - big money is scared of her, she comes across like a schoolmarm and she's a woman. No.
Sanders - he looks crazy, has had a heart attack and will never cut it in the corn belt. No.
Buttigieg - makes sense and knows his stuff. But I've lived in red states and a huge hunk of people will never vote for a black, woman or gay. No.
Klobuchar - she can't seem to bring the excitement and she's a woman. See above. No.
So that's the field. Any of them, Trump will run over like a truck. He will call them names, tell lies, and be the huge dick he is. All the while eating fried chicken from a bucket (paid for by the taxpayers, of course).
So that leaves Bloomberg, and he checks a lot of boxes. He's a man (see above about red states). He's run New York. He's not afraid of Trump. And he's rich enough to stick it up Trump's ass with a candle. No matter how many rich GOP donors Trump has in his pocket, Bloomberg can buy and sell them. Money will make a difference here. So I'm leaning toward Bloomberg. Because winning against Trump is the only thing that matters now.
The old Obama birther play
On NBC news, they showed Trump running his old Obama birther play. He says Rudy is coming back from Ukraine, with "lots of stuff" - sound familiar? Remember when Trump claimed he sent private investigators to Hawaii after Obama's birth certificate and "They can't believe what they are finding." Turns out Trump never sent anybody and there was nothing to find. But Trump got the airtime. Same play here, Rudy will be back and he will have some crackpot theory that Trump's base will eat right up. Won't this nightmare ever end?
John Dean looks confused
John Dean on CNN looks confused. Back in his day, they would have long ago run Trump out of office on a rail. He flat out says what we already know is worse than Nixon. Then the "younger" panel has to explain to him how Fox, Twitter, and general assholes like Jordan and Nunes change things. You almost feel sorry for Dean. The new America, where a crook openly does crimes in the White House, is something he can't understand. Join the club, John.
Does Trump want to be impeached?
Trump is a maze of psychological problems. You have to admit, in 2016 he tried everything he could to lose. That was the whole plan. He did not want to win, he just wanted to come in second and up his brand. The whole thing fell apart when he won. Now Trump went through some phases. First, shock he won. Next, he got used to the job and got rid of people that tried to contain him. Then he ran the Presidency like his business. But he discovered he could not do that, and more and more he is taking heat. The pressure must be getting to him. So maybe on a subconscious level he wants to be impeached. If he was removed from office, the pressure is gone. He could claim it was all a witch hunt, go back to mar-a-lago, play the victim and not have to do any of the work of President. Of course Pence would pardon him as he went out the door. Everybody wins. You never know with Trump. Look at today when he made remarks about the whistle blower to a crowd of over 50 people. He had to know somebody was recording. Like a criminal that wants to get caught and sent back to prison. Only in Trumps case, he wants to be sent back to the golf course.
Trump wants zero interest rates
Trump calls Fed "boneheads", wants zero interest rates! This from the genius that bankrupted a casino. Sure, I want to take my money and put it in a bank and see it actually lose value due to inflation! Trump can't be satisfied ruining foreign policy, voting, confidence in the Presidency, etc. He has to ruin the international monetary system too! If the rich folks are actually running the country, now is the time to get rid of the real "bonehead"

Trump in a baseball cap
You have seen him. Trump wearing a baseball cap, with MAGA or USA on it. He uses press "gaggles" to wear the hats and get national exposure. Of course, he sells them. $40 for the USA cap. You can buy other junk on his website too. Of course, it is all for his reelection but you can be sure some of that money is flowing into his pocket. First, Trump looks ridiculous wearing that junk like he is rooting for a team at a sporting event. And if Obama had done such a thing Fox news would have spent hours on how "unpresidential" it was. Overall, Trump looks like a sleazy salesman wearing that crap. And wearing it while discussing people shot dead with guns, hurricanes, tariffs, and other serious topics. I can't believe anybody wants this loser to be President. Or would even buy a used car from him.
