CNN: The chance of Trump winning another term is very real
This is a country that elected George W Bush and Donald Trump once. We should never be in shock when America votes against its best interests.
It could happen, even if he gets indirect three more times. It could happen, if even if he sits in jail during Election Day.
I will do my part and vote for Joe Biden because I don't want to tell my kids and grandkids that I was complicit in the destruction of America.
Here is a new piece by forecaster Harry Enten in CNN
What should arguably be more amazing is that despite most Americans agreeing that Trumps two indictments thus far were warranted, he remains competitive in a potential rematch with President Joe Biden. A poll out last week from Marquette University Law School had Biden and Trump tied percentage-wise (with a statistically insignificant few more respondents choosing Trump).
The Marquette poll is one of a number of surveys showing Trump either tied or ahead of Biden. The ABC News/Washington Post poll has published three surveys of the matchup between the two, and Trump has come out ahead albeit within the margin of error every time. Other pollsters have shown Biden only narrowly ahead.
To put that in perspective, Trump never led in a single national poll that met CNNs standards for publication for the entirety of the 2020 campaign. Biden was up by high single digits in the late summer of 2019. Biden is up by maybe a point in the average of all 2024 polls today.

"HarrisX" poll CEO Denies Involvement With Wife's 'No Labels' Party Amid Accusations of Bias
Mark Penn has denied any involvement with his wife's 'No Labels' political party amid accusations of biased polling in favor of Donald Trump. His wife Nancy Jacobson is the CEO of No Labels.
HarrisX consistently shows Donald Trump ahead of Joe Biden by 46% , the best poll outcome for Trump. This is also known as an outlier.
Despite frequently appearing on Fox News praising Trump and criticizing Biden, Penn claims he has not had no ties with the group led by his spouse.
Critics argue that Penn's firing from the Clinton campaign and his recent comments on Fox News raise concerns about potential conflicts of interest and partisan leanings.
Heres what I think Penn is doing. Hes pretending that Trump is ahead for two reasons:
1) to fight the impression and no labels is just a spoiler party trying to help Trump win. If Trump is ahead of Biden, theres nothing to spoil. Right?
2) he's trying to sock it to Democrats because Hillary fired him.
Here is the article where he denies his obvious ties to the pro-Trump spoiler No Labels:

Monmouth: Biden leads Trump even with Manchin running as independent
Pundits have been predicting a Democratic debacle if DINO Manchin run as independent. But they seem to underestimating the fact that Manchin is more Trump-like than Biden like:

Quinnipiac (July 13/17): Biden ahead of Trump, 49% to 44%
Yes, it is still very early. But two things worth noting:
1) this was even before the announcement that Trump is going to be indicted for January 6th.
2) for context, Biden won by 4% in 2020.
This is a good poll for Biden.

Sinema outraised by Gallego again, further clouding her future
Source: Político
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who shook up the 2024 landscape last year when she became an independent, was outraised by her chief Democratic challenger for the second consecutive quarter again by a nearly two-to-one margin.
Sinema, who has not said whether or not she will seek a second term next year, raised $1.7 million from April 1 through June 30. Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), who launched a bid for her seat in January, brought in $3.1 million in that same period.
Sinema has stockpiled nearly $10.8 million in her bank account almost three times more than Gallego but the representative has shown considerable momentum. He outraised her by a similar ratio in the first three months of the year.
The reports, which were due Saturday, add another layer of intrigue to what is potentially the most complicated Senate contest of the cycle. Senate Democrats are not only closely watching how Sinema and Gallegos campaigns progress, theyre looking for some insight into whether she chooses to run again at all.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr: COVID-19 was specifically engineered to avoid harming Jews
Source: Jerusalem Post
Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was caught on camera spouting antisemitic COVID-19 conspiracies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and Jewish people at a press event. The footage was obtained and released by the New York Post on July 15.
Kennedy, the nephew of former US president John F. Kennedy, claimed that COVID-19 was a bioweapon that had been specifically engineered to impact white and black people, but to spare both Jewish and Chinese.
"There is an argument that [COVID-19] is ethnically targeted," says Kennedy in the video. "COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately. COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.
"We don't know whether it was deliberately targeted or not but there are papers out there that show the racial or ethnic differential and impact," he added.

And he has the balls to deny he said that, despite being on video:

Only 10% of national TV news about flooding in the Northeast mentioned climate change
I am appalled that only 10% of national TV news segments about the catastrophic flooding in the Northeast mentioned climate change. This is a clear case of the media failing to do its job.
Climate change is a major contributing factor to the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, such as floods. The scientific evidence is clear that climate change is real and that it is caused by human activities.
The media has a responsibility to inform the public about the risks of climate change and to hold our leaders accountable for taking action. By failing to mention climate change in their coverage of the flooding, the media is doing a disservice to the public and is helping to perpetuate the climate crisis.
I urge the media to do better. We need to be informed about the risks of climate change so that we can take action to protect ourselves and our planet.
**Call to action
*
If you are concerned about the media's failure to report on climate change, here are some things you can do:
* Contact your local news outlets and demand that they do a better job of covering climate change.
* Share this post on social media and encourage others to do the same.
* Support organizations that are working to raise awareness about climate change.
We need to make our voices heard. The media needs to know that we care about climate change and that we demand that they report on it accurately:

Biden should make climate change Central to his campaign. Trump would stand no chance.
Trumps solution to climate change is to do nothing, because he does not believe humans are the main cause of global warming.
This is probably his worst issue, and people are being affected throughout the nation with many dead by heatwave and floods.
During the campaign, Joe Biden needs to talk about climate change and hammer Trump on his love for coal, and his lies.
